These are super bible study books. I am slowly ordering 2 a month and building a great study library. They give each scripture and under each one they give you a commentary on that scripture. Gives you a better understanding of what that scripture meant. They are well done and makes reading the bible more like reading a novel and more understandable. When I'm studying I use several commentaries so you don't get just one persons view.

I have ordered several commentaries offered by Life Application. The Life Application Bible is my favorite Bible Study Resource and these commentaries are thought provoking, very informative and I so appreciate the understanding I get from reading the commentary. I would definitely recommend this for anyone whether you are new to bible study or well experienced.

For important insights to the Gospel according to Matthew, this is a must read. We started with John (Life Application Bible Commentary), and read a few pages each morning while having our coffee. Great way to start the day. We'll probably read Mark next and then Luke and Acts (as they are the same author).
