I was unable to walk much and had lots of discomfort so I bought this. Right away, I could do some of my normal tasks because it supported my foot, heel and arch, which helps. I sat more than usual to rest it and did my plantar exercises. The next day, I wore the brace again and did the yard work I needed to get done for a deadline! I was on it for 3 hours, doing vigorous work. WOW! Not sweaty in my boot. It impressed me. That night I wore a new night splint for plantar and today I could do most of my exercise class that didn't require lots of standing. I'm going grocery shopping now. Both devices seem to help in combination (brace by day, right angle splint by night for 3-4 hours.) I got a medium rather than going up another size (I have an 8D (wide) flat foot.) It would have been too big for my small bone structure. The brace is already just a tad big for me. I set my priority for healing and pain reduction, so I gave this 5 stars.
