I wanted a camera that enables me to use Windows Hello when my laptop is plugged into my monitor. I tend to keep the laptop lid closed so I can tuck it out of the way and just use monitor. This works flawlessly and is much better than the camera on my work laptop. It plugs into the hub on my monitor so I don't have cables trailing everywhere. The camera itself is good quality and works well with Microsoft Teams. Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I have a set up in my kitchen that involves a laptop and a television, as I only watch GB News via online. I have an important video meeting coming up and did not want to pull all of my current kit apart.Although I am just an ordinary chap, buying a webcam from a Chinese company would always worry me. Even though it was slightly more expensive, I bought this Nexigo unit , an American company.I am so chuffed with it and the quality of both the audio and video is impressive.Very easy to install and all I needed to do was to disable the laptop camera and microphone, through the setting menu. The microphone should default to Nexigo.The only bit that was a bit fiddly was the privacy cover, which I think should have been fitted to the camera during manufacture.Overall, I am incredibly impressed. Buying cheap is not always the way to go as with low cost, comes low quality but the Nexigo unit ticks all of the boxes.

Edited: Initialy gave 1-star as I was unabel to set this up with Windows Hello (see below). However, after researching the issue, it appears it is likely Windows was at fault, not this device. If your PC has an internal IR webcam set up for Windows Hello, you have to disable it to use an external webcam.USB-C connection, device larger than expected. Limited manual controls. Good enough picture for my needs - social and work video calls. Windows 10 found it easily and it worked automatically with necessary apps. The automatic shutter worked flawlessly when I was testing it as did the manual operation thereof.However, the Hellocam part was a dismal experience. In more than an hour of testing, I got it to recognise my face once but then could not log in via facial recognition thereafter.

Whilst slightly bigger I actually think this is better than the Logitech Hello webcam which is several times more expensive. Quick to wake up, love the camera cover that opens automatically. Highly recommended.

I'm mainly reviewing this for the Windows Hello facial scanner, and it's very good for that. It's about as fast as I was hoping in that respect. From hitting the keyboard to being logged in, it takes around one second.The image seems perfectly acceptable and handles the mix of white, sunlit walls and dark shelves in the background well. I don't really know enough about cameras to say what's good or not, but it seems better than my work Mac (I'm very petty and insist on including the fact the Mac is from work!)

Good price for a high quality product. The privacy shutter is excellent. Works out the box with no need to install additional software

I had an older windows Hello camera from a while back that worked fine with win10. I upgraded to Win11 last year and it stopped working (cheap knockoff kind with no real driver support etc), so spent a little more cash and bought this camera in the hope of not having to pop my password in all the time. It certainly is quicker at identifying me and when I registered my face in win11, i noticed it was overlaying a grid and working out far more facial identifiers than the old one ever appeared to. Overall happy with it as a windows 11 hello cam and also for Web cam stuff..even in a darker room, the image is bright and far clearer!

Camera quality is not that impressive, I notice a fair amount of grain in the video during playback. The software supplied for the camera is very basic and not sure why you would need to change some of the setting in this software. All in all its a very mediocre camera such a shame the quality isn't any better.

Works great, no lag on the sound or the picture. Genuine plug and play. the only down side is the rather flimsy privacy shield they include. It's not built in and is very flimsy, but that's ancillary to the excellent quality of the webcam itself.

This is a really great camera. Not too often I get excited about a webcam, but I've tried several that didn't impress me, but this one is terrific. For starters, it's REALLY FAST. The auto lens cover feature is amazing. It opens the lens when Windows Hello needs to use the camera, logs me in, then closes the lens cover. Same thing when I use Google Meet, Zoom, etc. The lens cover automatically opens and closes when being used or when a call is ended. The picture is bright and clear and everybody says they can hear me perfectly with the mic. I've been using my desktop without a camera for years, but finally decided to add one so I could video call on my computer rather than just my Nest Hub Max. I investigated many cameras before I purchased this one, and I am incredibly impressed. I would highly recommend this webcam to everyone.

Me encantó, la compré principalmente por ser compatible con Windows Hello y funciona perfectamente, su obturador automatico me da mucha confianza porque uno se da cuenta claramente cuando la camara se activa. Ahora puedo realizar o recibir llamadas o videoconferencias sin tener que utilizar mi celular.

I tried lots of other webcams that professed to zoom in and out. Shockingly, none of them worked in everyday videoconferencing apps like zoom, teams and Skype. One or two did work but required using and tweaking their apps during the meeting. They didn’t even remember my settings. Ugh!I’m thrilled to say that this Nexigo yields a better image quality than ANY of the other webcams I tried, and remembers my zoom setting! It is plug and play and absolutely ROCKS. I’m a Nexigo convert. Thank you for finally making something simple that looks awesome and works right!

Bis jetzt die Beste Cam die ich je hatte. 2 Verbesserungen wären noch schon.1 Manko, Recht groß, auch wenn man es kaum merkt. Wuchtiges auftreten.4 K Version und etwas an der Größe arbeiten, dann würde es die beste Kamera die ich kenne...Technisch oberstes Level für HD zu 100 %
