This liquid vitamin D by NOW is the best I’ve ever taken. It’s clear and odorless—and mostly flavorless—though you’ll get an end-feel from its oily base carrier. I immediately noticed a shift in energy, with no nausea and no difficulty as compared to swallowing capsules—so I know the absorption is good. This is a fairly priced, pleasant and effective supplement .

For under $10 a bottle, it's a great bargain. I buy D3 drops only containing MCT. I've tried a couple brands that use olive oil but I did not like the heavy oily taste.A couple years ago, I was complaining to my doctor that I was feeling tired despite getting enough sleep AND feeling depressed for no apparent reason. My blood test showed that my D level had dropped to 10 (minimum is 30). My doctor prescribed single dose/1x a week 56,000 IU pills for me but I read the pills could cause side effects.Since I don't like pills anyway, I wanted to try liquid drops instead. After 2-3 weeks of the prescribed D3 dosage, I felt normal again (thank goodness)! I initially purchased the Pure Encapsulated brand - a high quality product, very expensive and now cannot be sold (legitimately) on Amazon.I discovered I have to keep taking the drops, about 3000 IU a day, to maintain enough Vit D in me. Now Foods D3 drops are easy to dispense (see update below) and has a clean taste. Very glad Amazon carries this brand.UPDATE May 2016:These D3 drops are still effective and very clean tasting. It's true the current stock doesn't come with a dropper. I lifted the clear white plastic cap off this bottle and used the old dropper I had kept.Update Sep 2016:I re-ordered this recently and now tap the opening of the bottle onto a clean, large spoon to get the drops out. Initially, I tried shaking the bottle above the spoon but that caused the drops to fly everywhere (wasteful).

We've bought this 7 times now.Seems like the best value for Vitamin D.4 drops is enough. One bottle lasts for months (keep it in the refrigerator).It seems to help energy levels. No flavor. We put it in coffee and although you can see it, we don't notice when drinking.Looking at it again, it also has MCT oils, which are also good for you.Easy to take if you just want to put a few drops on your tongue, but be careful not to touch the dropper to anything, or bacteria will spoil the drops within a few days.

We’re on our second bottle of this product. My brother is fed through a feeding tube and the liquid vitamin d works great for him. My biggest (and only) complaint is with both bottles we’ve had the dropper broke.

I seem to absorb liquid vitamins better than tabs or gel caps and worried that would mean the price of supplements would cause a strain on my tight budget, but these drops are probably the most cost-effective way to supplement my Vit D. It also allows me to adjust the dosage simply by taking fewer drops. If I take too much of it, my kidneys complain and since switching to the drops and adjusting the dosage to just 4 most days and 6 on days I am feeling weak I have avoided that bother. There are more than 500 doses at just 4 drops (50% daily recommended dosage). It is almost flavorless except for a kind of oily taste (like a very thin corn oil) so there really isn't a negative in buying the drops that I have discovered yet.If you are suffering from extended bouts of fatigue like I do, adding Vit D and a Vit B complex daily may help a little. It isn't a miracle cure, but wow, do I have nice nails, lol.

Seems to work for me. I would like it better if thr tone had some show how much was in each use.

I recommend these drops to every I meet. I've been taking them for nearly 5 years now. I have chronic issues with low Vitamin D. When my doctor discovered this in my lab work, he immediately prescribed me a prescription extended release Vitamin D. Not only did that pill make me feel queasy, it didn't raise my levels whatsoever. They were still around 13. I was discouraged and then I got to thinking - perhaps the issue was digestion. It made sense to buy a liquid, but I was concerned about the taste being off-putting and resulting in my not using it daily. I was hoping to find something that was more of an oil than a thick liquid, and I lucked out when I stumbled upon NOW Food's Vitamin D.I take it every night before bed. It has basically no taste to me at all. It will sort of coat the back of you throat though, so you probably want to take a swig of water with it. But - I'm very sensitive when it comes to taste. Some medications and vitamins cause me to gag, but I find that this is perfectly pleasant and easy to take.After just a month of using this, my levels went up to 25. Since then they have slowly returned to normal. My doctor asked what I was doing differently, and I told him all I was doing was using this product. He even said he may recommend it to patients who aren't responding to the prescription.I have osteoporosis and on top of that, I'm somewhat heat sensitive so I'm rarely out in the sun. This is the perfect solution for me. I'm just so relieved to have found a product that gives me such good results. I also feel that it's helped my general aches and pains and I feel noticeably more energetic. My doctor told me that Vitamin D is important when it comes to fighting cancer and inflammation too. I'll be taking this supplement for life, and I hope they never stop making it.

Not a good taste. I like this brand too. It’s too low of a dose for me. Would not order again. Got on sale, price was good.
