Wee Urban Cozy Basics Natural Sleep Bags - Giraffe: 6-18 months

this is our second Wee Urban sleep bag. the first was such a favorite (we leave it at our daughter's daycare for nap time - where it can get a bit chilly and we want her to feel extra snuggly). it is a really soft cotton. it's very thick - not like an adult sleeping bag but more like a very heavy, soft sweatshirt. the bag is incredibly well made. I wash it at least once or twice a week and have for six months. it still looks almost new. the zipper is easy to use and opens at either the top or bottom - allowing me to sneak her up while sleeping, open the bottom, and get her buckled in the car seat safely. I have never had trouble with the zipper catching or seeming worn. we get lots of compliments on the look of the sleep bag. it is stylish and not overly gender specific. we were so happy with the first one that wanted one for her naps at home and on trips. if we needed another bag, we would absolutely go back to Wee Urban.

This is a very nice sleeping bag - it's awfully large though. I got the 6-18 month size and my one year old's head fits very easily through the neck hole. I'm going to keep it because it's so nice and soft (and I got a really good deal on an open-box one), but who knows when it will actually fit.

True story, my baby slept 8 hours the first time we used this sleep sack. The weight is perfect for our summers in the PNW (not too hot) and I think will transition well to fall and winter with heavier jammies. I do find myself wishing it had snaps on the shoulders but it hasn't been a big issue at all - the dual zippers are GREAT and I love that there's no chance for the zipper to poke my baby's neck.

Great idea to keep baby warm. I bought this for my daughter who felt she had to keep the baby's room warm with too much heat. I know i sleep better in a cool environment and suggested trying this sleep bag. As soon as she tried it, the baby (8 mo) is sleeping through the nite with a lot less stuffiness. Mom is getting sleep too with the satisfaction that baby is cozy.

We love this! Snuggly for our child, yet breathable. I like having the ability to unzip it at the bottom for more ventilation. Seems to run true to size. My child is wearing is now 11 mon and wearing 12/18 mon clothes, the 6-18 mon bag still fits him. It has been washed and dried a lot and seems to be holding up well.

This sleep sack is actually safe for my child (concealing the zipper) unlike the name brand "sleep sack" that has a large zipper that my kid almost swallowed.

great sleep sack, ended up buying the elephant one too! only wish I could buy the peacock one too.
