but I am not pleased. I purchased this to sell in a bookstore ...
This book is not expensive, so I won't be returning it, but I am not pleased. I purchased this to sell in a bookstore at a Buddhist Temple, but I will not be putting it on the shelves. The drawings are fine, not too intricate, but there are far too many SPELLING ERRORS throughout the book. I agree with previous reviews that an elementary school child could have done a better job. Page 17 "lover" instead of "love," Page 21 "yhought" instead of "thought," Page 33 "naver" instead of "never," Page 34 "ture" instead of "true," I could go on and on, but you get the idea. I wish I had read the reviews more thoroughly. Apparently some reviewers received encouragement to write positive reviews that weren't exactly accurate. Definitely not following the Eightfold Path's "Right Speech." Sorry, but I don't recommend this book.

there are SO MANY UNNECESSARY TYPOS on the quotes that are on the pages ...
Wow- I don't even KNOW where to start! This book is small and has an attractive cover, however, there are SO MANY UNNECESSARY TYPOS on the quotes that are on the pages to color that it completely detracts from the calming effect of coloring. PLUS, on one of the pictures to color, there is a crazy SWASTIKA right in the middle of one of the pages, like the Buddha is wearing it on his robes! These are error that even the most basic editor should have caught.... it was as if this book was thrown together by people without even the most BASIC knowledge of the human language. Many of the Buddha's quotes are misspelled or simply taken out of context.Spend a few extra bucks and get one that isn't so shoddily thrown together.

Beautiful and inspirational.
I love this coloring book. Both beautiful and inspirational, sprinkled with the wisdom of the Buddha. It has a great variety of subjects, some more detailed than others, so it's easy to pick one for whatever amount of time you have to spend. Some of the detail is very tiny, this is definitely not a book for crayons or any 'loose' technique. I generally use Prismacolor Premier or Lyra Colored pencils, but these designs have tempted me to branch out into gel pens -- the fine line designs are excellent for gel pens or fine tip markers. Good quality paper and a nice size, too. I look forward to many happy hours coloring this. **There is one flaw with this book, and not important enough IMO to subtract a star. - some of the quotes have misspelled words. A minor annoyance, since I am mainly interested in the designs. But if this book is ever re-printed, i would hope they proofread it again!

I love the beautiful coloring pages
This coloring book is absolutely gorgeous first of all. I love the beautiful coloring pages, and like that they also include an inspiring quote on each one. With this coloring book, not only are you relieving stress, but you are making a beautiful piece of art, and getting inspiration at the same time.I would not recommend using crayons, as they are not ideal for the tiny little spaces and details. I found that colored pencils and fine tip markers are the best for these intricate, yet very delightful drawings. I received this book at a huge discount and it was worth it! It would be worth it at any price just for the many hours of stress-free pleasure you will get from this coloring book.

Sloppy, unedited, boring pictures
Much like the others here, I received this coloring book in PDF form in exchange for giving it a fair review.I'm a huge fan of adult coloring books. I suffer from bipolar disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and ADHD so there are many days where I feel completely overwhelmed with life and just need to do something relaxing. That's why I love being able to color my stress away.I believe the intention behind these coloring pages is pure, however-- the execution is somewhat poor. The designs on the coloring pages are complex and vivid, but at times they seem to be hard to color due to the thin lines and many distractions in the pictures. I'm not sure who drew the pictures here, but they're not that pretty or interesting. Some are better than others and I found a few that I liked enough to color. However, for the most part, they seem to be drawn by an amateur artist that threw this book together at the last minute. One thing that really bothered me the most as I colored is the glaring spelling and grammar errors throughout the pages. I've read things written by 4th graders that were more coherent and formatted correctly. There are misspellings, wrong verb tenses, and randomly spaced words on almost every page. Did the author not ask another person to review their work before publishing it? I would be embarrassed to have my name on something so rife with careless mistakes.Overall, I am quite a bit disappointed with this coloring book. The pictures are kind of ugly, and the "words of wisdom" on the bottom of each sheet are not wise so much as they are nonsensical. I received this for free, but I urge potential paying customers to look elsewhere for coloring books because you *will* be disappointed at having spent money on these pages.(p.s. if you found my review helpful, please feel free to click the "helpful" button below. It would really help me out)
