I was very disappointed that this charging unit did not work when i received it. When i plugged the unit in and set my phone on it, the phone would charge for a split second, stop charging, charge again for a split second, then completely stop. i'm not sure if the issue with charging base or the cell phone case needed to charge. either way, i will be returning the unit for a refund. what a shame, i was really looking forward to using this.

4 months and it still functions well. Another type of charging pad by the same vendor failed after 4 months. This one is still charging.
