it is ok for work.
this is for work so I didnt want anything fancy or expensive. I have a problem with the description, it say that it takes usb but it does not!! I went out and got a card with 8 g and it wont take that. I ended up having to use a 2g card.

This item does not take USBs. I specifically purchased it for that use. Avoid buying it if you want a USB compatible frame.

Awesome for $28
Big frame, cheap, good looking and didnt make me look like a cheapskate. Plus it wasnt some knock-off brand either. Made a good gift, highly recommended.

Junk
Pros:haven't thought of anyCons:SlowTerrible documentationPoor image qualityNo playback features, not even slide durationOnly supports JPEGWho should buy this frame? No one!Sticking in an SD card with pictures and the frame did immediately load the pictures and start playing a slide show, but I quickly noticed the images were all stretched funny. Fair enough, there is a mode button on top. It cycles between modes like pan-scan, auto fit, etc. None of these appeared to have any effect on the picture, and they all looked squeezed. Fair enough, export from the computer at the right resolution and all should be good, right?Nope, I started hitting next to go to the next picture in the slide show, and that didn't even function. It says it is going to the next picture, but it actually takes so long to do so, it is now faster than just waiting the duration of the slide show.Speaking of which, I should mention the only way this photo frame plays back slides is with the "slide show function". It is also non adjustable. It is just a few seconds between pictures then off to the next. This time is non adjustable, and it will play all images on the memory card. There is no configuration at all to choose different folders or anything. My verdict is to avoid this product completely. It is slow, poor image quality, and cheaply made with no thought to usability.

it's okay
Honestly, it works okay. It doesn't have the fanciest resolution but it works fine. I plugged in a flashdrive and it immediately started working. Gave both a quick start direction sheet and a a small manual. Honestly, I wouldn't pay more than $15 for this product, luckily for me I found this brand new in the box, never opened, at my local goodwill. I definitely feel like it was worth it for the $5 I spent. If I paid full price I can imagine my disappointment would be pretty big.

Waste of time an money
Just avoid this product. It is a waste of you time and money. If you decide to buy this, keep the following in mind:- use an external memory card (MMC, SD) for "easiest" usage, on-board storage capacity is small- only JPEGs can be used- 16:9 mode stretches the picture and looks poor- menu system gives no feedback and response is very slow- although display is 7" diagonal, entire LCD is not devoted to displaying picture even though menu does use it- use native display size (480x234 pixels), anything larger is poorly scaled and rendered and very slowly at that if the frame can render the picture at all- if your memory card has a trash folder, the frame will display (or attempt to display) every picture in every folder, so only store the finished product on a DOS-formatted cardIt is cheap, but I'd recommend spending more for something that is easier to use and has better controls and operation. I could go on, but I've wasted enough time with this product.

very disappointed
Received this as a christmas gift. Very disappointed. Can get past no on board memory (kind of like "batteries not included") but the instructions are lousy, the display is very poor, the pictures are dark. There is only one way to view them in their unstrecthed format and then the pics are only 2" by 3 1/4".In my opinion this kind of product can kill an entire concept. I am no longer interested in digital photo frames.
