Wife and I are retired, live on a ranch in the mountains. Bought a tandem bike, but it was designed and sold without chain guards, so I bought these velcro ties to keep my pants legs away from the chains. Haven't tried them on the bike yet ---- probably won't for a couple of months. Winter weather outside. Normally 29 degrees in the mornings, so we will wait until it warms up.

I bought these because I couldn't mount a chain guard on my bicycle. I guess they sent six because velcro and elastic eventually wear out.I've used the first one several times a day for more than a month. Checking the elasticity and the velcro, I can't find a difference from the unused ones. It looks as if the six straps will protect my cuffs for a long time. If I need one for another purpose, I'll have it.

Nice little velcro bands to attach things to other things quite easily. Got them to attach my silky hand saw to my leg while in the canopy of trees. They look to be holding up well and for price, there are plenty of back-ups if one snaps. Good stretch but strong to

For those of us who are too cheap to buy real bicycling pants, or who ride short distances and don't want to change upon arrival...this is a great solution. The blue painters' tape gets old after a while, doesn't it?
