Great knife set, the holder serves its purpose and is pleasant on the counter adding a nice decorative accent with shape. All the knifes feel comfortable in my hand as a person who cooks a lot, this set was a wonderful addition to my kitchen. I’ve had these knives for 3 months, use daily and they still hold their edge and are sharp.

This knife set is amazing for the price! Knives are sharp and the design is gorgeous. Matches my kitchen perfectly. The holder is very functional and such a space saver. Much lighter than my last block holder, too. There’s a knife for everything! I handwash them for fear of destroying them, so not sure about dishwasher safety.

Good knife set, functional and stylish but the knife holder is a bit cheap and falls over. We replaced it with a wall mounted magnetic strip.

I really like that this isn't the usual butcher block type knife set. It is much nicer, and streamlined to better fit on my counter space (I don't have a lot of counter space). And I can tell, even before using them, they are SHARP! I was careless putting the knives in the holder and cut myself lol. (No stitches needed). This would be a great housewarming gift for a new homeowner, or just for the cook in the household. Definitely recommend. The price is also awesome.

Bought these to replace my cheap, and aging 12 piece knife set.The bigger knives I do like, and are very sharp (at least comparing it to my older crappy set). Can cut things easier now and more smoothly.However, the peeler isn't the greatest, so I don't use it. The "Cheese" knife seems gimmicky and shouldn't have even been offered. The steak knives are decent at best. Also the "block" that holds it is only ideal for really open spaces. Under a cabinet, forget it. I have 40 inch cabinets with a 36 inch height counter (8 ft ceilings) and I can't remove a knife without tipping the block over. Annoying, but your mileage may vary depending on your kitchen style.Overall for $50 it's hard to beat and they look great. It's a good knife set for budget conscious individuals or families.
