Amazing product! I've been using this product for 2 years now and never thought of trying other brands. I have used gums on the past but they tend to have strange consistencies, either gooey or extremely dry. I like this one because the consistency is great, I can either apply it directly to my hair, wet or dry, and achieve great hold and overall results. The thing I love the most is that when I comb over my hair, I don't see any build up on the comb, unlike other hold products like mousse, it makes me feel like the product is more clean and better for my hair. I use Davines shampoos on daily basis and this is as great as the shampoos. The product is versatile as if you wet the product once it is in your hands you can get something more shiny and extra control, if you feel like matte look skip the water and works great too.I dont find the smell to be an issue, I am indifferent to it, it has never bothered me or anyone around me, while not odor-less it is not something that you notice a lot, but you can tell it has a smell as you are applying the product.

This stuff is great. The smell is distinct, but very neutral. It smells very pleasant to me. The hold is exactly what I'm after; Firm, not shiny, and lasts a good while. A little of this goes a long way, especially with wet fingers.

I bought this for my fiancé as he just got a new haircut where he needs to do some styling at the top. The woman who cut his hair was using this to style so I went to Amazon to see if I could buy it and sure enough, I found it! He loves it and uses it every day. It's clear once you rub it in your hands and style it, but a little goes a long way. If you use too much, it can appear white on your hair (especially if you have dark colored hair). But you just have to rub it in more for the white color to go away. All in all, this was a great hair styling purchase and I highly recommend it.

I've used Aveda, Kevin Murphy and Truefitt and Hill in the past but this has the best hold. It does smell a bit flowery so if you're a guy with insecurity issues, then it may not be for you, but it is the 21st century and superior hold is more important than how you perceiver gender roles.

I love this product! Perfect for creating definition in shorter hair styles, and achieving separation on hair ends. Very light, and absorbs into hair rather than getting crunchy. Mix with a drop or two of water for an even lighter effect. Fabulous!
