I've used this a couple times and already know it's going to be a time saver. Does a quick, neat job of chopping up veggies.

Bought this for making my own kimchi. It's so much faster to prep veggies on this than to try and do it by hand. Really easy to clean too. I don't know why I haven't bought one of these before now.

I *love* apples, but most apple slicers are kind of a pain in the apple-core to use, so I wanted to try a french fry maker instead. I just pointed the apple stem-side at the grate and pushed it through (bonus: If you ever played with Play-Doh as a kid you'll be getting the nostalgic feels with this thing!)I haven't tried the chopper on actual food yet, but the concept is sound, and those blades are very sharp so I have no doubt they'll chop through hard nuts with ease (to say nothing of onions!)The chopper is definitely sturdier than the fry cutter, although a bit more finicky to use, getting the blades to line up exactly right. On the other hand, if you put gentle pressure at the blade-end of the fry cutter while pressing down on the other side, it shouldn't put more undue strain on the handle than it can... well... handle. But we'll see if it holds up long term.The cutter blades could be sharper, but their dullness means no danger of cutting yourself while changing out which size fries you want to make. Overall a really nice product for the money, and as a small bonus, it matches my lime green kitchen scale too.

I bought this mainly to slice potatoes.The slicer canNot be adjusted for thickness& only slices extremely thin.I found my mother's old mandolin in a box & it's fantastic. I can adjust the thickness & its exactly what I wantedI can't use the one I bought

REALLY HAPPY WITH THIS ITEM.. I NEEDED SOMETHING THAT WILL LAST AND ITS MADE TO LAST. NOT CHEAP AT ALL. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Decent Mandolin for price

This French fry cutter comes with two sized grates for the size of French fries desired. It also comes with a multipurpose food chopper which can be used to chop veggies and nuts. They both worked very well. I had a few pieces of potato get stuck if this happens please be careful grates are very sharp.
