Q: Do the individual constructicons transform into robots or do they just combine?

The separate vehicles do not transform but they are functional and are pull back driven. They all attach together by magnetic means to make 1 big transformer. The big transformer though doesn’t move too well as a big toy, it is pretty cool though my 4-5 year old loves it.
