Nice and Easy to use
purchased this USB Wi-FI 6 looking to increase the performance of my laptop from Gaming too far the device is pumping out some quick Wi-Fi Speeds, I'm using this in combination with my ASUS WI-FiGaming router RT-AX86U.Relatively easy to install, I made the mistake of originally plugging the thing into a USB-2.0 port, wondering why there wasn't a noticeable speed increase. then I released the mistake and plugged it into USB 3.0 port, Software, and installation on the driver straightforward and was up and running within minutes.

Works well on windows. Driver needed to be installed first
The Driver for this Is located on the device. The first tine you plug the device into a windows PC it will open as a removable drive so you can install the driver. Once installed I can confirm it works well. Increased my WiFi speeds by a lot. Not sure if it would work on a non Windows device.

Finally a fast WiFI dongle has arrived
I get 1.2gbit on the wifi connection status with this and can download at 5.7mbyte a second which is the max speed of my internet connection. This is through 3 walls and about 10m distance. I do have a good WiFI AP as well a TP-Link EAP660 enterprise and a custom PFSense Firewall with a Draytek vigor 160 VDSL modem.I get a solid 30 latency in BF5. Copying from my NAS I get 11 mbyte a second.

broke my PC
Fortunately my PC has wired LAN, but purchased this wifi dongle to give option to move my PC without needing to root new cables. I already had a wifi 5 usb dongle but wanted the wifi 6 (AX) to go with my WIFI 6 router. Plugged this new dongle in, (not found via plug and pray), ran the setup, it failed, but now it has nocked out wired network and even prevented old wifi5 dongle working, and kept locking my W11 PC. Support is online only, no phone so no good without internet! fortunately I am a Computer Installation and maintenance engineer, so with several hours of work with software removal tools and some manual editing of the registry of my PC. I removed all traces of what installs/changes it had made and got my old network back, BE WARNED!

Must have if you have a Wifi 6 router
Recently upgraded my router to a Wifi 6 model but my devices couldn't get the maximum speed from the router. I bought this to use with my desktop PC and laptop which don't have Wifi 6 cards in them.Definitely a noticeable bump in speed, especially when there are other people at home using up bandwidth.

Inadequate instructions, a 'faff' to install, doesn't detect channel 120
The instructions are a pictogram of plug in the dongle and click on "setup'exe; if only it was that simple. TechRadar's review mentions rhe same inadequate instructions and faff setting it up. My WiFi 6 set up is two wired access points (ASUS and Netgear) that perform well and provide extremely good signal strength on WiFi 5 5GHz. It took about 45 minutes to get the WiFi 6 dongle installed, set up, and working on a lower 5GHz channel on a Surface laptop. The signal strength in Windows 10 was 1.2Gps. However, it could not detect channel 120 that my faster devices use. There was a marginal imcrease in performance but less than I was expecting. It may be returned to Amazon.
