Biffy's Best
I wasn't really a fan of Biffy until I happened to hear "There's No Such Thing As A Jaggy Snake" After that, I was hooked and started checking out their older stuff. The album Blackened Sky is great too, but this album reaches a level of perfection that not even that can match in my opinion. Every song is amazing, and the amount of passion and energy in the music and lyrics just blows me away. Simon Neil's vocals range from beautiful and touching to incredibly intense, and most of the songs are laced with gorgeous dark melodies, catchy beats, and powerful choruses that are great to sing along with. Standout tracks to me are Strung To Your Ribcage, Some Kind of Wixard, Wave Upon Wave Upon Wave, Jaggy Snake, The Kids From Kibble, and Pause It And Turn It Up, with its haunting little traditional Scottish sounding tune hidden at the end. A masterfully crafted album, you should definitely buy it if you're a fan of older Biffy or just any alternative/progressive type rock with lots of changing tempos, lurching tortured emotion, and crazy screaming. I'm also a big fan of At The Drive-In, and this album fits in perfectly with that sound. You won't be disappointed. The only downside to it is that it can be difficult to find in the US unfortunately, and I had to buy it from here, but otherwise, I have absolutely nothing negative to say about it and cannot recommend it highly enough.

Come ON, America...give this a listen! mon the Biffy!!!!
I've been on the biffy clyro bandwagon for quite a while now, having accidently discovered "Neon" as a free download on amazon.com (I think it's still there); Infinity Land takes the biffy sound to a new level: Mix in prog elements of Rush, wailing guitars of your fave emo-core bands, hooks of your favorite sing-along songs and hit 'puree'...there's really something for everyone on this disc. Standout tracks include Glitter and Trauma, Only One Word Comes to Mind and Wave Upon Wave Upon Wave. All 3 make my 'best of' for 2004-05 already. Oh, yes...if you're in the UK on holiday, GO TO A BIFFY CONCERT! They are an amazing 3 piece and put out a hell of a lot of sound!!

he's my recovery injection
one of the best bands of our time ive liked his past albums but i love Infinity land, you cant help but sing along. He's the only person who can sing " sit down, shut up and wait your turn" politly. You really need to see biffy live (rock city 12th oct "rock on") to appreciate the full blown effect of the quality of music he plays. His songs have meanings to them whether there through experience or not, they put you in a place or time in your life where you can relate these songs too. Biffy is the up & coming rock band of this year. Any one who doesnt buy this album is missing out on a lot of damn fine music!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best album!
Before listening to this album, I was in the mindset that Biffy Clyro was a slower alternative pop/rock band. Upon hearing the entirety of this, I couldn't have been more wrong. I must admit it takes a while to get used to what you're listening to; this is the most experimental album I own. From start to finish it contains powerful vocals and lyrics, strange time signatures, loud overdriven guitars, ferociously strong bass and absolutely smashing drums. If you appreciate rock music, you need to have this!
