I used the previous Ion watch for 5 years and loved it. I just got this one and used it over the weekend, and I am extremely happy. The battery life is unbelievable, I played 3 full rounds full rounds over 2 days on one charge (battery life is excellent). The touch screen makes it much easier than using the buttons on the previous watch to navigate. Within one hole I was able to use/navigate through just about each function. You can even see a layout of the green and move the pin placement for a more accurate distance to the hole. You can also get distance for any shot and keep score/stats. Easy to use/fantastic battery .. Great watch!

Good watch for golf. Very accurate and works well. Good for the money!

Touch screen takes a little getting used to.

Pros: Easier to see the face than the previous model. Good functional GPS Golfers watch at this price point, replaced my older Ion that broke after 5ish years. Touch screen is better than the buttons on the older version. The app is a nice addition for layout etc. of courses.Cons: Very small font on the hazards page. Setting time through the app is cumbersome, would like to be able to set it without having to open the app on my phone.Overall, I've been happy with the device just as I was with the first Ion I purchased.

Very easy to use because it's very intuitive. Front, Flag(Pin), and Back of the green all at your disposal via this user friendly watch. As you walk towards the green, you see the watch constantly subtracting the yardage to the green. Uses GPS to determine the courses in your immediate location and all you have to is tap the course your playing, out of the choices listed. It has 42,000 courses in It's data base, so your sure to be able to use this GPS watch at a lot of golf courses. Oh and by the way, the GPS service is free. Also worth mentioning, is that it keeps your score as you play and can save all the rounds of golf that you have played.

Love the watch but touch screen is too touchy and moves from hole to hole when I don’t want it to

I used the watch on about 6 rounds of golf. Distances are accurate. Haven't used other options, number of putts, drives in fairway and hazards. It's hard to page back to the hole your are on. May need more time and patience no to get more comfortable with the rest of the options.

Like the product except for no drive distance on the watch.
