5 stars in spite of the fact that I can't honestly say I'm a fan of Poseidon represented as a merman, even though that's how Hollywood special effects legend, Ray Harryhausen, elected to depict him in the film "Jason and the Argonauts". But I'm thrilled by its size. Here, at last, is a Poseidon statue able to stand next to the nearly 12 inch statue of Zeus and completely hold his own with his younger brother/king. All in all a most satisfying, excellently detailed sculpture of the mighty Earth-Shaker. Stands head and tail (puns intended) over those other smaller Poseidon statues available.

I ordered this item on July 20th, and received it on the 23rd (a Sunday). I don't think you can ask for shipping faster than that...It also arrived in perfect shape. I think it's absolutely fantastic. It looks better than the image on the computer. The scale is just right, and the detail and even the texture of it are just perfect. I would definitely order another item here, and recommend it to friends and family.

Very nice, only con was the trident is on a straw. The spear is stone, but the staff part is a plastic straw. Stands like the pictures measurements , looks like it otherwise wonderful. Came nicely packed from the company and also form the sender. Would buy again.

Absolutely beautiful. .The photo does not do it justice compared to seeing the detail and designthis is remarkable in the design I was worried that shipping may have broken the trident but its packed separatlyfrom the stature itself.. It was well packed and came with no damagesI highly recommend

Wow!!! The statue was perfectly shipped and packaged wonderfully. It has even more detail in person. His trident is packed separately in a little nook of its own in the styrofoam so it is safe. He looks wonderful guarding my mermaid/Poseidon themed bathroom. The white resembles marble and looks very regal.

I took another reviewers advice and got this for my fish tank. It looks incredible. You'd spend just as much at a Pet Smart for something made of the same material that looks like junk compared to this. If I get bored of it in the tank, it'll clean up good and be a really striking statue.

This is a beautiful statue. A lot larger than I thought. Great price for what you get. However, this may be a big deal to some but I did not really care. The staff Poseidon holds is plastic. You have to slide it into his hand.
