Love that I can still find quality pieces like this to fit my ancient Dyson vacuum cleaner! Looks and functions just like the original piece.

I am usually skeptical about aftermarket parts for anything I own, but decided to try this because of the huge cost savings and the reviews. When I received the replacement piece, I noticed it was actually heavier than the original, and like most people I relate weight to quality, whether its true or not, I'm not sure. In this case I think its true. This part fits perfectly and literally takes 30 seconds to replace. Once I replaced mine, it looked so good, it inspired me to deep clean the entire vacuum. I cleaned all filters, removable traps, and beater bar via U-tube videos. My machine works as good as new! My machine is the original ball and I have had it since they first came on the market, not sure how many years ago that was. The new version is a lot smaller and much lighter (mine weighs 20 pounds and is big and bulky) but again, it works great! If I need any more parts going forward, I will definitely shop here again !! High quality. I had black tape on my original hose after years of usage. After replacing with this one, of course I wondered what took me so long. Easy to replace. Also makes pushing the want back down into place, surprisingly that much easier.

the discontinued Dyson part was $60+! This was $15. it felt close to the oem quality, but only time will tell.

This is a hard-to-find and affordable replacement for the hose in our aged Dyson DC-15 vacuum (Hoover for readers in the UK). It’s easy to install but a bit too tight for easily switching between floor mode and tube/attachments mode. It does seem to be getting looser over time.

I picked up this replacement hose for my Dyson DC15 Animal version of the vacuum and it works great. The hose even had the rubber seal on the end that attaches near the motor (I thought they might skimp on it as products aren't always shown exactly as what you get). At first I thought the hose was just a little bit too long to coil up in side the hose storage space on the machine. The hose compressed just enough so that it fits perfectly and now is not a problem. The metal extension pole fits down inside the hose perfectly as well. Materials seem to be of equal quality and spec. Overall quality is good and seems durable. I'm hoping it stands up to the test of time. Side note: My original hose is still intact and lasted for several (7ish) years so far, but it picked up a horrible odor from vacuuming a smelly carpet in the last slum house I was stuck in for a year. I tried cleaning the hose and soaking it, but no way to easily get into all the crevices inside the hose. The replacement hose is a great substitute. Wish I could have substituted my slumlord and his slum house that easy! HA.

Ordered this for my Dyson DC15 after DYSON told me they no longer or make parts for this $800 vacuum ! This hose was a bit pricey at almost $60 but worth it. Looks almost identical to a Dyson part . Fits exactly the same and does EXACTLY what it’s supposed to do ! Easy installation watched a YouTube tutorial,literally took ten seconds ! Very pleased .😃

Fitted well. I did find, as reported by other purchasers, it was initially hard to extend the pole but after a week or so in use it’s fine! Would recommend

After years of use the hose on our Dyson had split. Fearing that we needed to purchase a new machine, I came across this replacement hose which was easy to fit and works perfectly. Suction power is back to normal at a very acceptable price.

This Dyson vacuum replacement hose fits perfectly and it can be replaced in a couple of minutes. My unit is now back to its original performance.

Thought I was going to have to buy a new vacuum cleaner when originally Dyson hose split. Found this and thought it was worth a punt! It’s actually been better than the original - pipe goes back in more easily now and fitted perfectly!
