It did exactly what it was supposed to do for a couple months. Suction was great, it NEVER fell off the shower wall. Then all of a sudden the screen started to go out and you couldn't read the hour, minutes and seconds. The next day the day and most of the other digital readings went out. I changed the batteries but that wasn't this problem. The problem seems to be this isn't water proof and the steam was getting into the electronics and messing up the display screen!

This clock looked promising , but my enthusiasm was extinguished when I realized that there are no buttons, just 4 icons on the clock exterior. They do not work. 😤 If you want the clock to do anything, the buttons have to work also. There is no point of buying this product, but maybe if you wish under a shooting star or use the power of the Force, a button will miraculously function… or it will just drive you crazy. Protect your sanity.UPDATED REVIEW: The seller sent a new item to replace the original defective device, which works just fine. I'm happy with the product, and that the seller made it right!

We purchased one of these in 2022 and it is STILL working wonderfully. We decided to get another one recently to use elsewhere and had an issue with it that the seller responded to quickly and is willing to rectify. Nice to see they stand behind their products!

*Edit - tried to hang it AGAIN, and it fell AGAIN, and broke this time. So yeah, save your money.The clock itself seems great. Easy to read, shows time, day/date, temp, and has a timer. However, I can't get it to stay adhered to my shower wall. The suction cup it came with was useless. It could barely hold on for seconds, so I decided to use the adhesive hook that came with it. Well, that only lasted 3 days before it went crashing down to the floor. Luckily it didn't break, but what good is this clock if I can't get it to stay hung?

I have been finding that my shower is the place where I can day dream and lose time while getting ready for work, and I tend to be late to work far more often than I'm on time. So I bought this clock.If I remember correctly there was two ways of mounting the clock. A suction cup and something else. I think a review I saw said something about using warm water on the suction cup. As the other mounting option seemed more complicated, I tried that first. That was a month or two ago. The clock has not fallen down.I mounted it to the right and slightly above the shower faucet so it doesn't get any direct streams of water or major backsplash coming off me.Being a water proof clock, or resistant or whatever, this clock does not have regular buttons. There's just areas at the top with painted decals that sometimes respond to the pressure you put on them. It's almost like you need to concentrate and reach out with your mind to get the buttons to engage.So my clock is 12 hour off. It says it's AM when it's really PM. But beyond that I got the clock set to the right hour. It works good enough so I don't want to mess with it to change it. Probably won't change it in October, or when ever, when we fall back. I don't mess with the stop watch time thing.I just know what time I have to be at work, so what time I need to leave to get there, so what time I need to exit the show to get ready. It works.I bought the clock so I could be late for work less, and it's working out.I was worried that it might add too much stress to my shower, but it's really easy to not look at it if I don't want to.

I liked everything about this clock while it worked, but I wish I could find a shower clock that didn't rely on a suction cup for mounting. Suction cups never hold, not on our old plastic lines shower, nor on the new, clean, smooth metal surface of our newly remodeled shower. The first time it fell, I made a point to randomly come in and push on it to make sure it stayed firmly affixed. The second time it fell, it broke. It was nice to have for two months.

July 2022 update-I loved this shower clock so much I purchased a second for a new shower we had installed. The key to holding it up is running hot water over the suction cup. That warm suction cup adheres & doesn’t fall. The 1st one I attached hasn’t fallen once & this new one is up & 👍Again setting it to the correct time, day, year is super easy. It’s easy to read the time-love how it counts down with seconds, displays the temperature, the day of the week & accurately displays what date of the month. It was super easy to adjust it to the current day upon receiving it. I’ve had zero problem with the suction cup. I’ve learned to put a suction cup in a bowl of warm water, let it sit then quickly attach it to the surface. It’s been a month & the clock has not fallen from our shower wall. An easy install. My entire family loves it. We don’t use the time countdown timer feature but that’s an added bonus. Excellent purchase for me. I love how I know can easily look at the time in my shower without peeking out my shower curtain at the clock on the bathroom wall. I do have it in a location where water doesn’t directly hit in as the instructions stated. I’m hopeful it lasts. I feel it’s good quality for what I paid vs. other shower clocks I was looking at. From my personal experience I definitely recommend it. Just warm up the suction cup!

Worst $22 I've spent. I thought I finally found an item that would have suction cup or adhesive hook that would last. "NOPE!" I applied both hanging types. When the adhesive failed 3days after install I was fortunate enough to be standing there when it failed and caught the clock. Then I used the suction cup while it stayed about 5weeks it to failed the clock fell, this time I wasn't there to catch it. I wasn't aware the $22 was rental fee I thought I bought it. Buyer beware.
