Earth-Log Scented Logs, 3-Pack

These come in their own little box. You peel the tear strip then light the Log. It gets full fire in just about 5 minutes and the fire is hot and clean. Because they're made of just paper and candle wax, there is no chemical smell or fines. Made in America and 100% recycled.

Difficult to light - you open the sides of the box and light that, rather than the paper flap on other brands. It doesn't catch easily, and I had to use wadded-up paper to get it to light. Once lit, its comparable to other brands, but the draw for me had been the "scented" part as well as the promise that it throws off more heat. This proved to be untrue in my experience. I couldn't detect any scent once it was lit (you can definitely smell it in the box before you light it), and there was no more heat than a regular Duraflame. It burned about 2 and a half hours, so that was comparable to the smaller logs; but at more than twice the price of the small logs, this product is definitely not worth it.EDIT: I was contacted by the company CEO and sent a full replacement. These were easier to light, and once lit - I did catch a bit of scent from them, and they throw off a LOT more heat than the normal brands. Well worth it for these colder months! Great customer service!

I'm giving it 3 stars compared to wood I use and have access to. I think this is a better fit for apartments and small city home environments which would move it up to a 4 to 5 star for the green factor.

Scent lasted all of 1st five minutes. Flames were nice and bright for about 1-1/2 hours. Very disappointed.
