These looks exactly as shown. They do not have a plastic-y smell which I worried about being made from this material. I have not put anything hot on them yet, just regular dishes so I can't speak to the heat resistant part. Mine were shipped flat so again people who said they were folded and were difficult to flatten I can't speak to that. I'm happy with the purchase, the price, and the look. I think they're fine for a large dish and table settings. I will update if they fade or can't handle a hot plate.

I think these are so cute. I finally bought my first dining room table and it's not super expensive so I wanted some type of protection. These work great. I want to buy them in every color so I can switch them out. There was no weird smell and they didn't come rolled up or bent.

I love the look of these, but I’m very disappointed in their durability. One Spaghetti dinner with my two kids and they are stained for good.

I Love Love Love these matts. So versatile. Great for pattys day, spring time and summer. Or if you're looking for a pop of color during winter. Easy to clean. The lotus pattern, pretty.
