Very nice quality - colors are very nice - good for man or woman....and it really works. So nice not to bring a dripping umbrella into my house. Very clever and smart item. Worth a buy and a try!

This is a great concept, but the execution is lacking. The construction is not very high quality, so I don't know how long it will last. One of the tips on the ribs had already come off when I took it out of the package. The package was also lacking. It was crammed in a poster tube with the handle sticking out with only a single layer of bubble wrap over the handle. Needless to say the bubble wrap was torn and the handle scratched up. Will have to see how it holds up under use.

I got very interested in buying a reverse-umbrella when I saw a KickStarter campaign for Kazbrella. Those have turned out to be seriously expensive, especially for sale to the US, so I bought this one instead. I love it. But I did find that the little cap ends slide off of the spokes sometimes--although they can be slipped back on. I think it could be a little more well made. Still feels like good quality. Mine is blue, a very nice color and I love that when you close it, you don't have a soaking wet umbrella dripping all over your stuff. And you really can get in and out of a car without getting we from a downpour! I'm glad I bought it.

Original?? Really?? I don't think so. Came poorly wrapped from China in a too small mailing tube that was beat up in shipping and falling apart. The plastic bag had Sunbrella logo on it that anyone can print. The color of the blue one was navy, not a light blue as pictured. There is no logo on the item and no carry case. I bought another cheaper one for myself that is much better quality and came with a carry case. Buyer beware.

Where do I start. The advertisement and WebsiteSUPRELLA PRO | The Original. (black-blue) states it's "German Brand Quality" yet it ships from China. When it arrived it was in a poster tube and the handle was sticking out of the end. The handle was wrapped in bubble wrap and tape which was hardly enough to protect it during shipment. When I took it out of the package and tried to open the umbrella (normal force it would take to open an umbrella) the handle pulled off the shaft; there was a small dab of glue on the end of the shaft to hold it on. The shaft is cheap plastic, not metal, with holes punched in it to catch the slide. The slide does not lock into place when opened and has to be gently rocked into position to get it to stay open; who wants to play with the slide during a downpour. The slide does not lock when closed and the only way to keep it closed is to use the velcro strap around the umbrella itself. It has no markings anywhere to indicate it's a Suprella Umbrella or to indicate where it was made. Compared to similar products in stores, this is not worth the money.

Bought this for a Christmas present for me wife. It was not a disappointment. I can't imagine a knockoff brand working as beautifully and easily as this one does. Great workmanship and great qualities. When those two meet together it has to be for something special and this Suprella is truly remarkable.

Ordered this "official" Suprella umbrella and another copy and honestly not sure if this one is the real deal. It arrived in a tube from a Chinese post office that doesn't say Suprella anywhere. Also weird the umbrella does not have a logo anywhere on it either-especially since its a trademarked name. Construction is just ok. The Love & Life one I ordered on here for $26.99 feels much more substantial and much sturdier. Very confused and very unimpressed. Don't waste your money on this, the less expensive one is much much better.

Great idea - and more practical for use. However, It is long so you can't expect to carry it around in your purse when not in use.
