I love this Plan Toys Set. Honestly, it exceeded my expectations. The sizing of the items is perfect, and goes well with our other Erzi, Estia, and larger Haba play foods. The simple designs really work well, and each item is easy to identify for what it is. The best surprise in my mind is that not only do the lids for the honey & jam come off (they're interchangeable too), but the jam and honey jars are hollow on the inside, allowing for a place to store things. Perhaps some little jam & honey felt-food slices for the kids bread? Too cool.As always, I had wished before I purchased these that another reviewer had mentioned the measurements, as our kitchen from Santa is a gift to both my almost-4-year-old and my almost-2-year-old and I don't want to buy things that have such small parts that they will have to be put away for next year. So, here are my measurements:Milk: 1.75"w x 1.75" depth x 2.75" tallWater: 4.5" tall, 1.5" diameterJuice: 4.7" tall, 1.5" diameterKetchup: 1.6"w (at base) 1"w (at top), .9" depth, 4.25" tallJam (without top): 2.2" tall , 1.75" diameterHoney (without top): 1.45" tall, 1.75" diameterHoney & Jam Lids: 1.75" diameter, .6" thickIf there is an item in this set that could pose a choking risk, it would be the lids. However, you really have to push them down to get them into a toilet paper tube, and then they get stuck. I believe a toilet paper tube is actually larger in diameter than a true choking-test tube. I'd classify them as a borderline choking hazard. While there are glued on parts to the other bottles/carton that could pose a risk should they detach, our set seems securely glued together.Really these are very well-made, pretty safe size-wise, and pleasantly smooth to the touch. Best of all Plan Toys' surface paints have been independently tested by the ecology center, and so you don't just have to rely on claims that their paints are safe, you've got xrf tests substantiating those claims.I think this is a great set, at a great price (we got it 30-something percent off). Highly recommended.

Great for pretend play. We basically love all the toys we've bought from plan toys!

We all love playing with this set. It is another set that gets played with every time we play with our play food. All my kids (5, 3, and 16 months) love putting the oj and the water in their mouth to pretend that they are drinking it. We enjoy putting the honey and jam on our toast after it comes out of the Plan toaster we have. The ketchup is also loads of fun. I enjoy watching them shake the ketchup onto the plates. I LOVE Plan toys. I have purchased lots of Plan toys and will continue to do so. I love the environmental stewardship of the company and the fact that they use non toxic paint. It is a very green company. The glue used is called E-Zero glue. It is completely non toxic and formaldehyde free. The wood is kiln dried and chemical free as well. I could go on and on about the company, but you can always go to their website to see what a wonderful company it is for yourself! I feel really good about having these toys in my home and would never even consider their competitors (with their typical made in China junk).

I know these say ages 3+ but there were no small parts to prevent me from giving them to my 18 month old. She easily recognized these as play food items and plays with them throughout the day, every day, choosing them over other toys. The jam and honey jars have lids that can be put away if you don't feel that your child is ready to use them yet. The jars are hollow and serve for hours of fun by adding a toddler spoon that she can swirl and pretend eat. I have read that other reviewers don't like the paint that shows the wood's grain underneath. I actually like that feature as it shows that it is wood and gives a more natural look. The only thing to be wary of is when the throwing stage comes along. The ketchup bottle was thrown against the wall and left two small red marks that cannot be lifted without also lifting the paint (cheap apartment paint on the walls). Also, these are heavy enough that if the throwing stage continues (ours did not), you would want to put these away until later.

I ordered this set to go with the toy shopping cart I bought for my one year old for Christmas. It's very nice and sturdy, and I love that it's ecofriendly and nontoxic. The bottles also are a very nice size for small hands.If there are down sides, it would be that the larger bottles are heavy because they are solid wood. If you have a toy-thrower or slammer, that could cause some injuries or damage to tabletops. (My girls tend to be gentle, but I wouldn't be surprised if we get a few goose eggs from these over the years.) The tops to the honey and the yogurt also come off, which is nice for play, but they only set on top of the jars. They do not snap or screw into place, so I could see them becoming lost easily.Overall, I really like this and the Plan Toy vegetable set I purchased, and I will look to buy from the brand again, especially when we expand our toy food collection.

Ok maybe I am just spoiled with Melissa & Doug products but these are a little too small in comparison to the Melissa & Doug products. I love that the honey & jam lids come off and the milk carton is too cute. I like that there is a water bottle included I love the shape & design of these products and I would even buy them again however they are a little smaller than the Melissa & Doug sets we have so they don't compliment each other. We decided to keep one set in our pretend store and these items in our play kitchen in the refrigerator; this way they aren't right next to each other making the size difference so obvious. Kids have not yet had any complaints and couldn't care less that they aren't the same size as the other kitchen items this seems to only be an issue for me and wanting things to match!

These are great additions to a child's play kitchen, and there is a good variety of items. They are solid and well made, so will last far longer than comparable hollow plastic versions. However, I was unimpressed by the fact that the paintwork was already scratched and/or faded when I received the items. My son also gets frustrated that the lids of the bottles don't come off (he has wooden milk bottles made by another manufacturer, for example, where the wooden lids attach by velcro to the bottles) when the lids of the jam and honey pots do. If the items had been in better cosmetic condition, I would have rated this more highly.

My daughters, age 3 and 1, adore these. They are perfect for their little kitchen set and are very well made. They look like new, no paint chips or dings, except where my daughter decided to teethe on one for a bit, and there are small teeth marks. Very high quality, cute, and a great alternative to bringing more plastic toys into your home. Would definitely recommend!

Very good quality I think a little bit young for my 4 year old granddaughter but saying that she loved these wooded bottles. Excellent quality and colouring. I would recomend this product and seller as delivered quickly well with in time stated.

Bought these for my granddaughter and she loved them. She uses them all the time when she is cooking . I was so impressed that my daughter and son-in-law purchased another set for their own house.

Really pleased with these.I'm so chuffed how great they are and their wee crate they came in.They look perfect with the Tildo Kitchen my little niece got for her birthday.She was especially chuffed with the milk :)
