This is just the exterior case, you remove the circut internals of your old key fob and put them in this. It feels exactly like a new key fob and of the same quality as factory.

Great product overall I’m happy, it looks OEM and looks a lot better than I was expecting. In the picture attached starting from left is my OEM 6 year old daily use key, the middle is my second OEM key with super light use, and finally on the right is the Amazon key. You can see the blue is a shade off but imo I actually like it better it pops more and I feel it’s a closer color to the M blue. Now onto the small flaw. So I find that if you use your old or OEM key blade in the new fob the button that releases it can be hard to press and remove the key at times. I feel as if this will wear eventually to work properly. Just a tiny issue that doesn’t bother me much. Overall I’m satisfied. I was skeptical

My wife had a cosmetically damaged original keyfob, I purchased this, but didn't use the key it came with, I just used the old one, it slide right in, same design. The case on this was easy to open and add the circuit board from the original. The case on the original...I some how used the same technique and destroyed it...but all in all, this looks like an exact replica other than the panic button is different. And no, you can't easily swap out those buttons, their is a rubber membrane that seals them in. I would buy again...and yes it did come w/ the bmw circular logo already attached.

This item is a great replacement key shell for your BMW F series, if your original remote key is getting beat up like mine was (see attached image, original on the left, new shell on the right). The hardest part is cutting the old adhesive away to separate the old shell from the internal control board. Just takes some time and patience. There are lots of instructions / YouTube vids online on how to do it. End result is a brand new looking key. Highly recommend.

Key Fob works as advertised. Simple to install. My only hang up is the fob appears to be too thick. My OEM remote would unlock my car through multiple walls. I have to be between 10-15 ft before it unlocks now. Not a big deal, but I may try to find another replacement. IMPORTANT - I’m going to give everyone a warning. The OEM fob is super glued/gorilla glued together. It is a major pain to take apart. The easiest and unfortunately time consuming way is using an exacto knife. Literally cut the entire fob apart to remove the circuit board. If you are up for a 30-45 minute replacement, have at it!

This is great fob for my bmw 430 I . I am so happy I found this on Amazon. Very well made and fits perfect and better than the original key fob. Only suggestion is that the company should give a instructions or video to show customers how to open the key fob to put the electronic from your old key fob to the new one. Once I found a video on u tube I found as able to transfer electronic from my original key fob. So very happy with the product. Thank and thank you

It’s exactly what I needed to replace my worn key. The housing is a exact fitment of the old one and freshens up the key. I would highly suggest taking this opportunity to replace the battery. The old key is very firm to take apart, so make sure you don’t mess up the interna module. Once you swap it, the buttons work exactly like the OEM
