Permanent marker would also work. Keep in mind if you attach anything to the kite it will add weight and change the impact of how it's flown. First off, I prefer classic things. I am not a fan of themed kites shaped like an animal or having some wild graphic. I love the simplicity and elegance of a red diamond kite. Regardless of style, this kite flies super well. It has a decent amount of pull, and takes only a second to setup and get in the air. I highly recommend you purchase a kite reel. It makes flying a kite so much more fun.
