Not perfect but best option for me
I’ve been wearing these for many years. They wear out like a swimsuit becoming thin and shapeless. I like them because they are thin and don’t affect the fit of my fins. I don’t like the 1/8” seam allowance on the inside so I wear them inside out to avoid irritation from the seam ridge. I’m buying a new pair after I finish this review.

No Stretch
The opening of these has almost no stretch. They're very hard to get on and a seam is already splitting.

Finis Swim Sock's
Just received my Finis Swim Sock's tonight and I have to say I'm very impressed because I've never owned a pair of swim socks before, I mean I have had half neoprene booties from Dol-Fin Tails, Inc (they come with your monofin) anyway... For those who did get these socks and gave it a 1-3 star review here's what you should have done... Read the size chart first (cuz their skin tight) get the right size, keep your to nails trimed and don't pull or strach too hard, go slow and take you time putting them on, make sure the "Finis" name is on top of your foot, also make sure the seam's are evan. I don't need to do a full usage review cuz I've had nylon, polyester spandex mix blend fabric swim products before. These can be uses as just sock's well cuz they are kinda like normal sock's. To care for them gently take em off, wash them with freash water and "Dawn Soap" (or the "Great Value" brand of Dawn Soap) after each use of swimming (that's to wash all the sea, pool, and lake water off and make sure all the soap is washed out to cuz Dawn Soap is very sudsy) then you squeeze everything out. To dry them don't hang them by a hanger or a hook (that'll streach them out) hang them on your shower pole or over the edge of your bathtub (somewhere) oh and not don't leave them in the sun to dry. I'm not sue if they can be machine washed you should contact the seller, Amazon, SwimOutlet or Finis about that.

Love these socks except.....
I use these with my fins when I swim laps. I swim 3 to 4 times a week for 90 minutes. They are the only thing I have been able to find that keep my feet from blistering in the fins. I slip these on and then an old pair of socks. The socks are added because I buy fins a size too big. If I buy them in my size they tend to tear at stress points in the foot end. I know it sounds strange but the combination of the two fits my feet perfectly. And my fins last for years. However, The problem I have is the sock does not hold up in chlorine. They start breaking down within six weeks. The Lycra just can't take the pool chemicals. For as much as these cost you would think they could make a pair that lasts longer.

poor quality
item came apart in the seam within a month of wearing only a couple of times. Very unsatisfied with this product. Will not buy this again. Was a waste of money

Works as advertised
Provides that thin protection for your foot/toes within fins. I wear them bodyboarding and they are a great help to avoid blisters, etc. So far, no issues with durability.

Perfect light socks to wear with fins!
My scuba fins were rubbing on my feet and ankles, so I bought 3 different styles of booties and socks. These were by far the best! The other two had a thick sole that would be helpful when walking on hot sand, but I just wanted thin socks to protect my feet from rubbing when I wore my fins. Worked Great and dried quickly!

Comfortable
Fit well and allow you to wear swimming fins without any blistering or chafing issues. A must have. Could not give them a 5 until I see how they last. Just over 3 months later...the seams are coming apart on one sock for the second time....

Finis to the Rescue!
When it came time to get serious in the pool I turned to Finis for many of their great products. Each of these have been integral to me making progress in the pool overall and at helping increase the intensity at the same time. These skin socks were the answer to my problems with the positive drive fin which rubber my toe and put it under a lot of pressure. They provided just enough relief and were easy to get on and off. On top of that they are fast drying so I didn't need to give them any extra special care. They were dry and ready each day for use, even on days where I was in the pool in the morning and evening.

Stretch when wet
I'm a size 12...I'd probably buy a size smaller. I like to wear them when kicking because I have narrow feet and often get blisters. These have prevented blisters.

very effective
The first time I used a mono fin, it really hurt to put it on. Then I got these socks: they make it much easier to put the monofin on... so less splashing about in the water + they are very comfortable. If you're starting to use fins (regular or mono fin), I definetely recommended using these. You may still get foot cramps as your muscles adjust, but it will hurt less to put fins on and get them off.

Multipurpose - Varruca socks and boot liners
I bought these as swimming varucca socks for my 11yr old son as the rubber ones are impossible to get on and rip all too easily. These are fantastic, comfortable and easy to get on and off, and very durable. They are also ok to swim in, and even though the varuccas have now gone (finally) he still wears them to avoid picking up an more. I subsequently bought a pair for my daughter as she was getting blisters from her football boots in cross-country. These, worn under her socks, have done the trick, no more heal blisters. So multipurpose, very comfortable and they go through the washing machine (bonus). I am sure my son will use them as walking boot liners as well to keep his feet warm and stop any rubbing. Very pleased with the socks.
