The pens came in a secured packaging. There was luckily no plastic tapes wrapped around the plastic bottle. I bought it from appario retails(the seller). I recommend buying it from this seller if you want good products and delivery. The product manufacturing date is June 2020. I received 25 pens and 10 refills all are blue ink. Now coming to classmate pens, these pens have an issue of uneven ink flow(it's a manufacturing defect). Some of them write some don't. And I don't like to over-write the words again and again especially when I'm writing an exam. So I got it for casual writing while preparing for exam or class notes. If you don't want the additional pressure of shaking the pen vigorously before writing every sentence during an exam and sudden heavy ink flow on the word, then go for other pens like Hauser sonic gel, flair carbonix gel and unomax ball pens. But I still love classmate octane pens due to their smooth writing especially when I am studying for long hours. No hand pain coz the grip is so good! Never found such a convenient body in other pens so far..I am devoted to these pens, so I may buy in future too! I do recommend this pen for classwork and homework or for casual writing, but for exams, at your own risk. Better take the entire jar to switch pens in between..🤣😅Update: Guys store the pens in the jar upside down or store the jar along with the pens upside down(pics attached). This helps the ink flow towards the nib so you can use the pens for months to come. Always store any gel pen that you are currently using in a pen stand or cup instead of the pouch. I did these steps and the pens are working for me. Even if the pen doesn't write initially store it upside down for atleast three days, shake it and then use it. Hope this helps.

Excellent, packing was good .the bottle had little crushing .all the pens are working perfectly.I recommend it for students.

Never thought Amazon would disappointed this much.The packaging is too bad , it's not even an amazon package.Total number of pen is 25 out of which 3 pens are different. Also 10 extra refill was included but only 1 refill is given.Too much disappointed. Never buying pens from amazon again.

This product is good except that some pens gave problem like stopped working suddenly but again started working after some time.
