I have a few different gel nail kits. This one is great. It comes with the most stuff for a beginner. It's all good quality stuff. Love all the extras. The files glitters foils and more. The lamp is great. I do wish the shape was more a rectangle instead of curved. I have really long fingers and nails beds, so I have to double check my nails aren't hanging out the back. It cures great. I also eith the colors were more opaque. They are kind of thin in color. I normally use beetles. Which is nice and thick. 2 Coits of polish is perfect. This kit-modelones I had to use 3 coats, and the color was pretty sheer. I also don't really care for the shiny top coat. I'm used to beetles, opi, gelish, asp. They have extremely high shine, no scratch. This top coat I've added multiple coats, and it scratches and just doesn't give the shine I am after. It makes my mania looks worn. So I use a different top coat brand. I will say the lot is wonderful especially if you are a beginner, just wanting to gather some supplies to get started. Its with it for the lamp alone. Plus the price...under $25, its worth it for sure. As long as you have a different top coat, and are ok with 3 layers of polish then ita great. The perk if 3 layers is the added benefit of strength. My nails grow like weeds, and are so healthy. so not a must have feature. But if you have weak brittle nails and want some added structure, don't hesitate.

The media could not be loaded.  I got the cat eye kit and absolutely LOVE it. The kit includes the cat eye polish and color changing polish too. So, some of the colors are temperature sensitive. Hot equals one color and cold equals a different color. This kit is the special effects box of absolute awesomeness. I did a test swatch of each color on some extra fake nails I had too. Sorry I don't have a picture of them. They're put away with all my nail stuff.The video wasn't taken after I completed my nails it was a week or 2 later. I had this on for 3 weeks and probably could have gone 4 without having any problems. Again, proper nail prep is key. I also couldn't stop looking at my nails. Because of the shine, the sparkle, and the holographic rainbows!!!! LOVE IT!!! This is my visual fidget toy. It helps to look up different YouTube videos of people using cat eye gel polish and the different techniques using the magnetic wand.Note: proper prep is key. I purchased the nail dehydrator and primer from this same brand, Modelones. Read the instructions and fine print. Apply thin coats. The primer (air dry) and base coat and colors will all be a little sticky after curing under the uv light. That's normal. It helps each layer bond to each other. The top coat will seal everything and shouldn't be sticky. Also, wrap the tip or free edge of your nail without getting the polish on your skin. **Using the cat eye polish: Apply a thin coat and then use the magnetic wand. Don't touch the magnet to your nail. Get really close to your nail and try to be steady and hold it for 5-10 seconds. Check to see if you like the look. If not swipe your nail with another thin coat of the cat eye polish and try again. Cure it when you have the look you like. It helps to do a test swatch of the colors so you know what you're working with and how to use it. Each cat eye color you can try a different technique with the magnetic wand.I also purchased the kit A8- the gray pink one. I couldn't help myself and now have a back up lamp, just in case. Lol.I now have even more nail stuff coming... because I need to try the Modelones poly gel kit (without a uv lamp because I have 2 now Lol). I also ordered the Modelones brush cleaner too. Do I have a problem? Nope. I'm investing in a hobby I love and enjoy. I always do something with my nails. I can now enjoy the art I do on them longer than with normal nail polish. I also give my nails about a week or so break between each manicure to breathe.Overall, I highly recommend this brand and their products. The cat eye kit is my absolute favorite though. I feel like Gollum, they're "My Precious" Lol.

These kits come with great color options. You have to be careful to not touch ANYTHING with the base coat on because it is sticky, and make sure to overdo it some with the lamp and cure for 60-90 seconds. If not I have experienced the color slipping around and bubbling up from not fully curing. Otherwise it’s great and I use it often.

First of all, I was shocked to see how much comes with this kit. The quality was absolutely great. The colors are amazing and don’t chip fast. I got tired of spending $25 just for gel polish. Now I can do it myself in minutes and it last just as long. My one complaint is that the light could be bigger but it works perfectly.

I received this last week and so far my nails have held up. I’m rough on my nails, they’ve been bumped and scraped over things and only have suffered a small chip in my thumb nail. My nails aren’t the prettiest right now but with a little more practice I think I’ll get the hang of it. I hate regular polish I always mess it up or smudge it and after using this Im going to trash it all and use gel from now on. I’ll probably never go to a salon again.

This is my second time doing my actual nails and it’s literally so easy to use, and turns out so pretty. My last set would have lasted probably longer than 3 weeks but I was getting bored of the color so I redid them. I added the cute butterfly decals on my toes and they have been so cute. I literally love this. Saves me so much money from going to the salon. 100/10 recommend getting this and following the instructions, you will not regret it.

Thin coats, allow for extra curing time under the lamp, take your time. Still took me less than an hour to do a new mani! Get some brush-on gel remover - it’s worth it. My only wish is that the bottles of gel color, base and top coats are pretty small - too bad they’ve not regular size. Otherwise great product and great value for this kit!!

honestly i cant complain about the contents of the kit, it’s perfect for beginners at a really great price. the colors are a little more understated than in the pictures (they are more pastel-ish irl in my opinion) but still pretty nonetheless. my only issue is that one of the bottles arrived with the top cracked open, so whatever was next to it had little spots of gross sticky polish, but nothing some acetone couldnt get off. like i said in the title, it was an ugly color so i didnt care, but quality control is definitely something to be aware of. the uv light works well for me, although i do feel like it’s not as strong as salons. im a mechanic and i do my gel overlay nails at home and they easily last me 3 weeks, no color fade, no issues.
