Bought this to be used with SSD on Raspberry Pi. After couple of hours realized that adapter is the problem that I can't write to disk. When connect it to computer works fine. Replaced with a different one and now the Raspberry Pi is working with external drive.

DOA And Ruined a drive
Plugged everything in and within a minute the power adapter was so hot I could not touch it. It fried the hard drive that was plugged into it. I am now in a nightmare with my client as there drive is completely dead. This is going to cost me a fortune to send to a data recovery company now and I am going to have to eat the cost. Wouldn't do business with these guys again

If you like explosions...
AVOID THIS PRODUCT! Plugged it into my grounded surge protector turned my back to grab the hard drive I was going to attach and BOOM! Fortunately nobody was hurt and I was able to unplug before it burst into flames. AVOID THIS PRODUCT
