Beach Waves Curling Iron

This hair waver is so good! It comes in a velvet bag making it easy to travel with. It also comes with a heat protector glove. It has 4 different degree settings. It doesn’t leave your hair dry or frizzy. It heats up fairly quickly and it’s not super heavy! It is just as good if not better than any of the infamous Lanage crimping tools but for 1/2 the price! This particular waver is super easy to use and the waves last for days! For the price, it is well worth it!

Good quality, it is a little heavy but it does work! Totally recommend it! I get many compliments when I do my hair with this hair tool!

Fun waves. Never had so much hair. Wearing my hair up or down with these Beautiful waves was just fun. This tool was easy too use. Well made and well worth the money. It heats up quickly so you are ready to go in no time. Very sturdy and the size is easy to work with.

do i know how to use a crimper? no ! but it still came out cute, and im sure if you know what you’re doing it would come out even better. Heats up real hot, great for price, it’s quick and easy.

I was really hoping this would work for my hair buuut sadly does not. Im not sure if I'm not sectioning my hair in small enough sections or if i just have to frizzy/corse hair but it did not style it like I was hoping. Product itself seems really nice and durable. Unfortunately just does not work for my hair.

I was apprehensive about purchasing this because it looks odd, but looks are deceiving because it crimps amazingly. The waves come out beautifully. Warning ⚠️ The iron does get extremely hot. Be very careful. They send a heat glove for protection. That should tell you something. The glove is for a very tiny hand so not much help but overall the iron doing it's job well.

This product FRIED my hair and I think I had it on too hot of a setting. Still, it smelled absolutely rancid and disgusting; the stench was so strong and I wish I was exaggerating! It literally took me TWO FULL DAYS to air out my room pretty thoroughly! Plus my hair stunk and reeked like a dead skunk so strongly for quite awhile, even after washing and conditioning it several times (I tried every great-smelling hair product I had, I continued to wash/condition over and over, but, sadly…NOTHING got rid of it)! Talk about MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT!! I was so paranoid out in public bc I kept thinking everyone must be wondering WHERE that horrid stench was coming from or why my hair smelled so bad! I especially hated it if I was in line somewhere waiting to check out and there was a person behind me - ahhhhh NOOOO!!!! I wore my hair pulled back and up for about a whole month, I kid you not, even though it didn’t really mask the smell. But I didn’t wanna wear it down either bc I have very long, thick hair and then everyone would probably smell even more dead skunk!! Omg, smh. Sad thing is I really liked the waves it made (they’re more “crimpy” waves, not beachy ones, which I think is the company’s false advertising - shame on them)! Anyway, so if you’re looking for something that creates looser, bigger waves, this does NOT do that; plus, like I keep saying, it REALLY REEKS BADDDD!! I did see two other reviews complaining about the same bad/burnt smell issue as well as the very POOR design placement of its power and temp buttons (I will mention that in a sec). I still really wanna get a wave iron but now I’m just too scared it’s gonna make everything smell disgusting! Maybe it’s bc I had the temp on the highest level, idk, but still, no product such as a WAVE/CURLING IRON should EVER EVEN REEK ANYWAY (I mean, I’m still like, WTF)?! I will probably end up trying a different one soon and luckily I was able to get a full refund even after my refund time deadline was a few weeks ago! Thank God! Like I said, I liked the waves it made; pretty easy to use (a bit heavy; had to take many little quick breaks for my wrist and hands to rest). It comes with one glove bc the iron gets so hot and even the darn glove didn’t fully keep me from feeling the extreme heat - ouch! I was a little awkward using this, especially trying to do the back of my hair, but it was the very first try I had at it and I admit, it did turn out very nice despite the stink (it took about oh, maybe an hour for me to do. I used sectioning clips in my hair and used the iron on each section at a time. It just takes longer if you have longer hair, ofc). Still, I definitely need more practice with waving irons! But not ones that SMELL SICK!!!! And, what a shoddy engineering design too…those dang power and temperature buttons! You have to hold the iron RIGHT where those buttons are located on the iron, and I kept turning it off by accident, or accidentally changing the temperature of it!!! Talk about annoying, frustrating, and a waste of time (it was very time consuming bc I continuously kept accidentally pushing the buttons just bc my hand had to hold the iron exactly right where they were on the iron)! I even tried moving my hand a bit a few different ways out of the way of those darn buttons, but nope, it was impossible for me to use the iron properly and efficiently unless I held it RIGHT WHERE THE BUTTONS JUST HAPPENED TO BE LOCATED ON THAT DANG IRON! (I also read some reviews on here complaining of the exact same thing). So, I’d definitely say skip this one and find one that’s wayyyyy better! I’m willing to pay more for much higher quality and good design/functionality…and ofc NO SMELL! Even the strongest air fresheners couldn’t touch this ENTITY, I swear! I was really starting to panic - my room got gradually really smoky/hazy too the more I continued using the iron - I’m still shocked that the fire/smoke alarms didn’t go off! Sorry for such a long review but I’m still just so mad with my NIGHTMARE experience, and it just makes me so upset when products aren’t at all what their sellers claim them to be! One review said the pamphlet that came with it mentioned the possibility of a smell but I didn’t read that or see that at all, or I must’ve just totally missed it, unfortunately!! They coulda mentioned it on Amazon BEFORE u decide to buy it, how about that huh? Lol Again, at least I’m getting a full refund after my deadline passed! If your return deadline has passed but you want to still return it, go on here and chat with a customer service rep like I did - I didn’t even have to ask for a refund, he beat me to it and was very nice :) So Yayyyyy!!!!! Usually I’m quick on any returns of bad products, but I was seriously debating on maybe risking it and trying it just one more time, just on the lowest heat setting this time, and hoping that that might help (then there would be no deadly reekage, right? Ummmm, probably not! Ugh)!!

third party buying from amazon is something that I highly recommend not doing. Too many hassles in returning. Which resulted in not returning my purchase.
