Seriously good Manuka, it's the real deal.
Most people never give much thought to the type of honey they buy. "Honey is honey, just as marmalade is marmalade". But in reality, there’s a whole world of honey from which to choose, including rooftop honey, raw honey, chunk honey, orange blossom honey and of course, Manuka honey. Manuka, in particular, has been the cause of much excitement, hailed as a superfood with antibacterial properties and the best manuka honey can be as delicious as it is good for you. What exactly is manuka honey?Well, Manuka honey is a certain type of honey from New Zealand and is derived from bees that feed off the manuka bush. Studies have shown that its health-boosting and antibacterial properties are far superior to other types of honey. Unfortunately, what many people aren’t aware of is that less scrupulous manufacturers will often combine it with cheaper varieties of honey, therefore diluting it and removing any kind of benefits. You need to consume a lot of the best manuka honey for any kind of benefit, so dilution is something to look out for when buying. If you want the real deal, then you could do an awful lot worse than this high-quality offering from the Manuka Lab. This genuine New Zealand Government approved 200+ MGO Manuka honey not only has its many health and nutritional benefits, but it also tastes great too..Perfect as a sweetener or for a Hot Toddy on a cold day, but equally great on a simple slice of toast. In summary, it's quality stuff and well worth considering if you're a honey lover or simply looking to give it a try for its many benefits and I'm more than happy to recommend it.Thanks for taking the time to read my review, I hope you found it helpful. All the best

Nice but expensive
Was actually surprised by the size of the jar given the price of this honey...but I've never heard of Manuka honey before. But seems everyone from the wife to workmates have.."oh Munukas an expensive honey".As other reviewers have said..& after some research...it's known for its health benefits....its antiseptic/healing properties...It really is a nice tasting honey with what to me gave an aftertaste of antiseptic? But in a nice way....probably the same taste as other sites list as a menthol/eucalyptus taste. Edit since the review...Tonight I asked my wife if she had tried the honey..she said she had & also said it had an aftertaste like antiseptic..so it's not just me...perhaps this is where the healing properties derive from.I was sceptical of all the high scores on here given the cost & wondered if they'd have scored so high if this wasn't given as a free product to review...so off I went to other Manuka variations from Manuka Lab to find people with verified purchases also rated this highly. The one noticeable thing was that this wasn't purchased so much for the taste...but for healing/calming properties which seem to help a lot of reviewers. It's certainly not a honey you'd purchase just for the taste given the price..unless you're caviar type rich...though this honey does seem a fad with celebs? (Surprise surprise)...but mainly for its apparent health/healing/antiseptic benefits.I've personally no condition that warrants the use of this so can't comment on its medicinal uses but there are loads of sites with info which are actually informative reads...all I can add..it's lovely tasting honey..& great on toast! & at present time...Holland & Barratt are rating Manuka honey from Manuka Labs as Number one ;)

High quality honey thx
This like all Manuka honey tastes great, andis very good for your health. I won’t be without a jar in my cupboard over this winter. This is in not the gunk that flows smoothly out of a tube when squeezed nor should it feature in a marinade or glaze. This deserves a simple touch which allows you to enjoy the lingering flavour. You would not drown out a great tasting product wit about review stating The Manuka doctor honey, despiteh other powerful foods. Just a simple piece of crunchy toast with a smear and it's bliss. The taste lingers for quite a while afterYou either enjoy the taste of Manuka honey or you don’t. I love it. And the 200 mgo is my allrounder. ( I keep a pot of 640 mgo purely for medicinal use.)I have it on toast or a spoonful with my Greek yoghurt. An onset of a sore throat or cough I add a spoon to warm water with lemon juice or have it with a herbal tea.I’ve usedRead more about review stating Favourite it on an open wound that healed quickly and minimum scaring.Lastly a table spoon mixed with an egg yolk and almond oil makes a fantastic soothing and moisturising facial mask. Lovely honey.
Tasty manuka honey with 200+ MGO which is known to treat oral bacteria, prevent gastric ulcers and improve digestive issues, which is the main reason my husband and I take this every morning.I think it works quite well and generally it’s the best tasting honey I’ve tried. For 250g, the price is £24 (at the time of writing), which I think is very fair considering the competitions. It's, however, quite hard to know which one is the real one, so if you tried and felt better, it might be the real thing. Both my husband and I feel that this is a real thing as we feel good and don’t have stomach issues while taking this honey. We are happy to recommend it.
