For many years now, I've used Glide Floss Picks, which are great, for one main reason.I really struggle to use normal floss and get it to my back teeth without it snapping, or gagging myself.So, when I discovered the Glide Picks, I was chuffed at how easy they were to use as the "floss" is actually more like a "tape" than a piece of string, so it slides easily between all teeth, especially when it's a tight fit, which most of mine are!They used to be widely available and reasonably priced, at around £2.50 for a pack of 30, but over the years, they've gone up in price (a lot) and aren't available in stores, so I've looked around for an alternative at various times and had those interdental brushes recommended several times, but I always feel like they're damaging my teeth, possibly spreading bacteria around from tooth to tooth, especially as they're reusable and I'm not at all happy with having a brush on a metal wire going in and out of my teeth!So, I've looked at alternative Floss Picks.Various stores sell various brands, but they are, without exception, that I've seen, usually very flimsy, plastic efforts with a piece of "string" floss, which either snaps, or gets stuck between my teeth making them a nightmare to remove.So, I was apprehensive when I found the Dentek Floss Picks, because I couldn't tell, from looking at the pictures, whether, or not, they were tape or string Picks.However, I took the plunge..And, I'm awfully glad I did.They're less than half the price of the Glide Floss Picks, and they come in a pack of 60 and yes, they're tape, with all the advantages, I mentioned earlier.They're not perfect. The handle on the Glide Floss Picks is a little more robust, but on first use, I'm very impressed and will buy again and won't be afraid to buy 2, or more packs, which will keep me going for ages.If your'e thinking of trying these and are not sure, I'd say, go ahead..you won't be disappointed! :O)
