Deliver to Australia

2007 digitally remastered and expanded reissue of the Australian Punk band's 1977 debut album now featuring an additional eight bonus tracks featuring outtakes, B-sides and all four tracks from their One Two Three Four EP.. Never purposely fashionable, The Saints were Garage rockers caught up in the Punk scene, but their raw dirty sound fit perfectly into the Punk aesthetic.. This release is coinciding with a monumental occasion in Aussie musical history: The three surviving members of The Saints (Chris Bailey, Ed Kuepper and Ivor Hay) are reuniting for a one-off historical performance in Brisbane in July of 2007. 18 tracks. EMI.

Belongs on the shortlist of greatest punk rock albums of all-time
For me this album is one of the greatest punk rock albums ever released, and a seminal record in Australian music. The fact that it came out in 1976 is just staggering. It is a pure rush of youthful energy, with great lyrics and melodies tossed in. Standout tracks for me are title track, One Way Street, and the slightly perverted Kissing Cousins, But really the entire album is a blast from start to finish (with the possible exception of No Time, which kinds of grates on me after a while). The bonus tracks are a bit of a hit-and-miss affair - the best being Do The Robot and the cover of River Deep Mountain High,If you're even remotely a fan of punk rock, or youthful, energetic music you need to pick this up.

if it is too LOUD then you are to OLD!!!!!!!!!
I remember the only song for years that I have heard is "I'm Stranded" which I felt was always a good song. Since I listen to the underground garage, I have heard more and more of the saints songs. I have got to admit that I got to like these guys so much that I went and purchased this remaster cd with bonus cuts.I was very impressed!!these guys can really rock and play with intense energy. these guys sound so good and I love their cover songs.this cd sounds best when you crank it to ten on your stereo.I would not recommend listening to this cd on your headphones it does them no justice and you may lose your hearing. A must for any punk rocker!!!

if you are reading this then you should buy this record
i'm afraid i have no interest in judging tracks on this album but it is a strong album. you can listen to the samples and judge for yourself. it is classic that anyone who like punk, or rock music, should own. it is really that simple.also check out Eternally Yours

punk rock 'n' roll
Absolutely amazingly good album this. I had it on vinyl back in the day, but didn't appreciate it as much then as I do now - perhaps because they didn't quite fit in with the English punk scene of the time and weren't exactly 'cool'. Having said that, one of my favourite punk singles was always 'This Perfect Day', with it's almost equally good b-side of 'L-I-E-S', so it's good to see those tracks tagged on to the album, along with the tracks from the EP 'One Two Three Four'.This is very exciting adrenaline-fuelled rock and roll with an amazing guitar sound that is just, well, really exciting to listen to. There are a couple of slower tracks, and they are great too, but the peaks for me are probably the fevered.'Erotic Neurotic' and 'Nights in Venice', not that there is a single duff track on here - they are all good. The guitar playing is visceral, the singing is snarling punk Elvis, the drumming rolls on relentlessly, the band is tight, the production is great. Punk rock 'n' roll. I suspect this album has been very influential on other bands, despite it being somewhat outside of mainstream punk knowledge. It may not be the cheapest CD you'll buy on Amazon, but believe me, it's worth it. No punk collection should be without it.

replacement
originally had on this on vinyl but either lost it or sold it this this was a replacement. Good album and one that stuck out for me when I originally bought it.

but its worth at least six
absolutely, definitely, without a doubt, the finest rock and roll record ever. if you like iggy and the stooges' raw power, or the lurkers fulham fallout, then this is your sort of stuff writ large. Vicious, exuberant, and stuffed to the gills with life, the best band out of oz, and thats even taking into account that only the first two albums are worth having (this one and "eternally yours"), just, ooo, everything. this will be the fourth time i've bought this record - twice on vinyl and now my daughter has skated on my cd, and it is just such a relief that i can still buy it.

7stars for being stranded
Just for the title track alone this is worth 7 stars, plus perfect day,and there's some other seriously good tracks that would be excellent but pale by comparison.Really this the missing link between the Stooges and punk.Fabbo!
