I just got it and haven't even had the time to break it in yet, but Amazon is dunning me for a review so here I go.The finish is good. In fact it is finished on both sides, which is in my experience, unusual.Being new to non-metal belt buckles I have no idea how long the one on this belt will hold up, but I have hope that it will perform the same way belt buckles have always performed for me, which is to say... for decades.The only drawback, if it is a drawback, is that the belt arrived in a plastic sleeve and when took the belt of it, an apparently spare belt "loop" that was unconnected to the belt itself fell out on the floor. It is identical to the "loop" shown in the illustration, but there is no obvious place to use it and no instructions for its use were provided. I have assumed it was included in error and threw it away.

Nice belt, but problems with the fit.
Seemed like a nice belt if it would have fit. I bought the 34"-36" for my hubby who wears a 34"-36" in jeans, and it was WAY too small (like the very end of the belt barely touched the buckle. So I returned it and went up two sizes, and that one was WAY too big. We gave up.

It works! Going though security at jury duty, I did not set off the alarm or need to remove the belt. Unfortunately, at the airports they still make you take off your belt, most of the time.

No more problems getting through metal detectors.
I go to a lot of ballgames and got tired of having my belt buckle set off the metal detector on the way into the ballpark. This belt doesn't have one bit of metal in it. It's well-made, with a solid leather strap and a sturdy buckle.

Doesn’t feel cheap!
You may think that because the buckle isn’t metal, it’s cheap and flimsy. Not at all. Very sturdy buckle and fits as expected.

SORELY disappointed.
received this belt and was SORELY disappointed with the look of the buckle. For $35, it's made of a cheap-looking plastic throughout that gives it an embarrassing dollar-store look. SO much so, that we've never used it. Collecting dust at this point....truly wishing it could be returned.
