I was a little hesitant to try these because I’ve had bad luck with non chemical starters but these things are amazing! I bought the 10 pound box and it should last a couple of seasons. It only takes two pieces to start my fireplace and I could probably get by with just one. There are very easy to light with a basic stick lighter, burn hot, and definitely long enough to get my firewood going. I will never go back to the other fire starters.

I bought these sticks to use in a solo stove table top fire pit. They light fairly easily, however they let off a ton of whispy black ash strands. My whole patio was covered in black soot. Perhaps that isn't an issue if you're using them at a big bonfire, but beware of the black strands snowing down on you if you use them in a smaller setting.UPDATE: This seller is outstanding. Upon my review they reached out and provided a full refund while also shipping me a box of their dry kindling. The kindling works great in the solo stove without the same ash issues as the other product. Refreshing to have a seller actually care.

It starts very quick and helps keep the fire going. you don't even need starter fluid which i like these sticks work very well.

We no longer use the gas on our fireplace to start fires. This saves a ton of money and energy. Works great and clean burning. No sticky messy chemicals, just simple wood. Highly recommend!

Great for starting a fire, can be slivered down to very small pieces. One stick can be used over and over. I split the box with family and will easily last 2-3 years. Great price for 10 lb box.
