Best miniature painting handle.
I have had this handle for about a week. This handle was a game changer for me.PROs:* Handle size was perfect for my hand. The finish was flawless.* The stabilizer bar works perfectly for someone who shakes.* Magnets are very strong, no problems.* Multiple disks included for batch painting. (I received 6)* The price for the quality is very fair.CONs:* The putty supplied sticks a little to well. Even trying to use the putty on the stuck putty to remove it did not work.So far, overall, this handle was a great purchase. If I lose or break this handle, I would purchase again.

Stunningly well made
I would have been happy with one or two magnetic wood holders for the top, but it came with 6? Love it. It even comes with some free tacky mounting stuff so you can get started with it right away.It is exceedingly easy to rotate and hold a model on this handle. The magnets aren't too strong or too weak. They just work.It is super easy to fit in the hand; not over-sized. A child could use this without issues, so hand size is no issue. I'm glad they didn't bulk it up and make it less useful as a result.Since it is made of wood, you can easily customize your handle, if you want. Staining, painting, carving or clear-coating would be very easy to do.Critique:The only thing it could really do better would be to have a much stronger magnet for the length extender that attaches to the bottom, but you can just as easily glue it in place if you don't mind it being a permanent addition. It also doesn't come with any protection from moisture, so be sure to add your own protectant or simply keep it away from lots of water if you want it to last as long as possible (should be lifetime if it stays dry).

A well designed handle
Used this for Warhammer minis and it works great. The wood feels nice and sturdy. I magnet has good strength and I’ve never had anything come off when I didn’t want it to. The ability to rotate the top wooden base is great. Being able to pop on multiple wood bases is fantastic for batch painting. I didn’t know if would use the metal brace, but I fell in love with it. Sometimes I use it to rest my hand, and sometimes I use it on my desk for extra leverage. The only reason I took a star off was that a few of the magnets at the bottom of the wooden bases fell off first time I used them. I superglued them back on and they haven’t given me any issues. All in all, great product.

Lots of complaints, but there are solutions.
This item is exactly as advertised. It's a few dollars more than the plastic clip-on solutions, but it's worth that price increase. It's comfortable, well-made, and required some LIGHT drilling of the holes on the side of the handle to allow the metal brace to go in.Some problems I've seen from other reviews:- Magnets not gripping:Defective, return it and get a new one. Or, just take the little plastic coating off the bottom, and the magnets work much better. Seriously, I could club a small animal to death and not have the mini fly off.- Handle not staying together:You have a defective magnet (see 1 above) or stop pushing so hard against it. It takes effort to get the handle apart. You're not using an IBM push-typing machine, for heck's sake. Also... I mean the sticky stuff you put on minis to adhere them to the top disc might come in handy. Yeesh, this is like teaching monkeys to use tools...- Handle too small:I have rather long and wide hands. They're Yuge. Unless you're a blood relative of the late, great Andre the Giant, this thing will fit in your hand. If your hand is too small, just use the bottom/top half. You can even *gasp* use both halves as a mount for minis at the same time!- Metal support bar not going in the holes:The handle is unfinished wood. This likely stems from humidity swelling the wood, to be honest. Either let it sit for a couple of days indoors in AC, or drill it out. If you're this deep into painting, you probably have a hand vise for pinning minis; use it.Might be a good idea to throw a laquer over the top of this thing, to be honest, and maybe a nice dark grey stain while you're at it. It will look awesome.- Dog ate it:Bite dog to assert dominance.- Putty not holding:Blu-Tack is about $4 at a hardware store, and you're going to want more anyways. If you don't already have a supply of blu-tack in house and you're doing any amount of painting/priming, you're really, really doing it wrong. Paint stir sticks and blu-tack will cut about 30 minutes off per batch. Get some. There's a lot right with this item, and at even just $4 more than the GW solution, it's ten times better if it fits the use cases, for me this is namely:1. You're not just painting GW figures, so their solution doesn't grip smaller/larger guys better.2. You want to set up a mass production line (5+ units) for one go and need to switch them out without jiggering the darn base, or like me, don't like basing minis until after painting.3. Plastic is uncomfortable to grip for longer than an hour.4. You like wood.5. A stabilizing bar sounds like a good idea with your early onset Parkinson's and rapidly approaching 50th birthday.6. Damn the Man, save the Empire.Anyhow, I'm very happy with my purchase. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Great mini holder
Great mini holder, I'm a beginner mini painter and it's the best I could of asked for. The base is a simple round grip that can be lengthened with an extra magnetic piece. The included puddy is really nice, just needs to be kneaded a little first use. I also like the metal bar that you can rest your hand on while painting. The best part about this product is the base the minis sit on are magnetic and it comes with 6. You can easily batch paint your minis and because its magnetic its easy to twist the mini without having to turn your whole hand or adjusting your grip.

Works great
Works great for my D&D minis of varying sizes. Easy assembly, good weight in my hand, looks nice. Wish it had more than 6 interchangeable pucks since I paint quite a few minis at once, but still a great holder and a good value for the price.

Does the job very well
With multiple bases for models and the two sizes for the handle and the hand-steaming bars this is absolutely what I wanted from this product.Magnets are very strong.Highly recommended.

Actually so good
I was doubting whether to get one of these, but I can honestly say that not only is it a must have for painting because of the control it gives you, but it's also beautiful in its own right. Way more classy than those plastic handles. It's so convenient to rotate the model and to have the extra support for your brush hand. Couldn't do without it anymore.
