This was a cute gift for my son's first birthday. At first he just loved to watch someone else drive it around. Eventually he learned that he could press the buttons and make it move. He certainly doesn't drive it anywhere in particular. But he is able to hold the remote and press the buttons. I like that the car has buttons that make sounds for him, too. He's been rough with it, so the antenna is broken and moves around inside the car, but it still works great.

Got this for my dad, who recently became chair bound. For Christmas I added a cat chase toy and dad has fun entertaining himself and the cat. It goes just fast enough but not to fast for him or the cat to handle.My mom said it is his favorite gift! That has never happened before!

It's cute, and was a nice gift for my little nephew. Though i wish I'd gotten one that went more than just forward and back, the little figure and transformer-ish car that came with it was a hit. All in all, it was a cute little gift as his first remote controlled car.

My almost 2 year old grandson likes to play with a little (toddler) remote car that I had here at Grandma's house, has forward or turn buttons only so easy to operate. He don't speak much but I showed him remote cars on Amazon & he picked this one. I told him 'don't tell anybody but I will get you this for Christmas.' Lol Glad he picked it out because I would have bought him the blue one. Lol

This was a great purchase. This is something the whole family enjoys playing with. I purchased this for my 2 year old and she absolutely loves this. It lights up, make car sounds, and simple to use. The remote only has two buttons, forward and backwards (that's all my toddler needs). It's also durable as she picks it's up by the antenna and runs the car into the walls.

Follow up review: This was a gift for my 2 yr. old great nephew, and his mom (my niece) reports it was indeed a smash hit!! Kept him entertained for hours, and he loves being able to work the remote controls all by himself (great for his developing eye-hand coord.!). I originally gave this purchase a 5 star rating just because of the visible quality of the product and the great price -- now I'd give it a double 5 star rating knowing that it has met all performance expectations and most of all because the little guy is so thrilled with it. He's a happy camper, which makes his great auntie one too! Thanks!

Grandkids love it Easy for toddlers

This is a great starter remote control car. My 3 year old loves his. The buttons work simply enough so that he doesn't get frustrated. The only thing I don't like about it, is the song it plays. It's very loud and annoying (I don't like noise anyways). Luckily, it only plays if he presses a certain button on the car itself. It doesn't play automatically when he's driving the car with the remote. So, I often just ask him to play in another room if he wants to hear the music.I would definitely recommend this car for toddlers :) It's easy to use, and works well on carpet and hardwood floors.

This is the second car I’ve purchased. The first being the police car. Both are satisfactory for my 2 year old grandson and me to play and race around. The only disappointment was this car advertised a “bonus” push car, which was NOT included in the package. Not a deal breaker, but disappointed that I didn’t receive all items that were advertised as included in the package.

DOES NOT WORK!The car and remote both had power but the car would do nothing when pressing the remote buttons.It worked once for about 15 seconds then stoppedSoo disappointed in this item especially since was an Easter gift and child could not play with it.What a waste of moneyNow to go through the hassle and time of returning this item is not fair. My 2 yr old loves this car. But he broke the little back fin thing almost instantly. The battery compartment doors are very easy for him to remove (my fault for not putting the screws back in) but maybe a different style would be better. Overall I really like the car, except for the fin thing.

Our 2.5 year old nephew LOVED this toy. It was a favourite on christmas morning. It sustained some bumps and crashes with no issue. We also have a 17 month old who got a hold of the remote control and was able to drive the car around and loved it so we've ordered him one

I bought this for my toddler. Yesterday on Amazon Prime Deals. It broke the same day. Lasted less than 2 hours. The remote control button stopped working. Waste of money. Dont buy. Will be reaching out to Amazon for a refund.
