[Original] Waterdrop WD-PF-AL Replacement Alkaline Filters for All Waterdrop Pitcher Filtration System, Improved Coffee Taste, Last Up to 100 Gallons (Pack of 3)

This alkaline water and Waterdrop filtration system is new to me. Not sure if I got a bad filter or if alkaline water should taste like you are drinking water out of a garden hose. Followed the instructions on preparation of the filter and discarded about a gallon of water before use. I have a waterdrop glass filter pitcher and water taste fine for the first taste test - clean. A day later my daughter complained drinking the water out of her Stanley Cup tasted like water from garden a garden hose.I thought maybe the alkaline water was reacting with the plastic straw that is used to drink out of Stanley cup. Overnight I poured fresh filtered water in a glass cup, plastic cup and a stainless-steel thermos. I tasted the water before the experiment and no garden hose taste. The cups were left overnight without being covering but the thermos had the lid close.The next morning, I tried the water from the plastic and glass cup. Water in the glasses tasted like garden hose water. I tried the water from the closed thermos, and it was much better. Only thing I can think now is it is not plastic chemical leaching into the alkaline water, but the water is oxidizing or something in the filtration process is causing reaction to the air? I have not tested the pH before and after.I have put in the standard filter WD-PF-01A for time being until I have more time to research alkaline water and the Waterdrop filtering system.Update; customer service was concerned about my satisfaction and contacted me to follow up on my experience with Waterdrop product. So far the filter is am using is perfect. No funny taste, just clean water. Impressed with the customer service and product thus far, I bought another pitcher to put inside the fridge.

Swell filters and pitcher. Tested alkaline amounts which held around 9.25 to 8.50 for a couple of months. Nice job. And it tastes good, too!

The product is great but the young man from Fed Ex delivered my product at my front door just dropped it from about waste high. Luckily the items didn’t crack but I have product coming in glass bottles.

This is the first time one of these filters clogged since I’ve been buying them, which has been 3 times I believe. This time 1 of the filters was a bit slower than usual, and 1 of the filters clogged. I was able to unclog it by placing it in a bowl of water to soak and then shaking it under running water. The filter seems to have been used up much quicker than the previous ones.The filters are usually of good quality and last quite a while. I’m about to order more right now since it’s likely not going to happen again. The reviews for the product are very good.

Although the filters I initially received were faulty, they were very quick to respond and resolve the issue and get me new filters. The filters are easy to use per the instructions and the water taste is great. They fit perfectly in the waterdrop fridge dispenser I use.

UPDATE: Shortly after posting this review I was contacted by a customer rep by the name of Harper, she was very apologetic about my experience and quickly went about rectifying that by sending me 3 brand new filters. This type of customer service bodes extremely well for the companies faith and willingness to stand behind their products and in my opinion do right by their customer. Extremely satisfied and have updated my review to reflect that.I love the taste of the water thats filtered through this, but it DOES NOT last 100 gallons. The pitcher I use is a 40cup pitcher and i've filled it up once a week for the past 10 weeks (So a total of 520 cups have gone through the pitcher this includes the first 3 fillup and dumps) and already the filter change light has come on.100 gallons is 1,600 cups. This filter should last for another couple months AT THE LEAST going by the manufacturers word.

I’m really not a fan of products where you need to purchase consumables forever to keep the product functional. However, the extraordinary taste improvement when I first tried the All Waterdrop Pitcher and Dispenser Filtration System (lol I sound like a sponsor but I’m not, I just like the product) led me to bite the bullet and spend $US37 for this three filter pack.I know everyone’s busy but I recommend you read the instructions, soak the new filters in cold water for at least 10 minutes, replace the old filter with the new, fill the pitcher twice and discard the water, refill a third time. Push the button on top for 5 seconds until the blue light flashes to activate the filter life indicator. And don’t be cheap like me and try to extend the life of your filter. 😊

I am definitely not one that likes drinking water, but the Waterdrop water filter pitcher has been amazing. The water tastes so much better. I'm sure the alkaline helps with the taste, so I continue to purchase it. They last for at least three months and we refill the pitcher at least 3 times a day.

Excellent water filter. Water tastes as good as quality bottled water. high end brand. I will certainly buy again.
