wanted a light weight ladder that would be easy to store. The telescoping ladder satisfied those wishes.

The locks only work in the extended position so any unlocked segments want to slide open with any movement of the ladder. In the fully extended configuration the middle bowed heavily when I was climbing making the lower segment extended and the upper vertical which makes you lean back while climbing so not the most stable climbing position. I will attempt to use the ladder in the A frame co figuration after my heart rate goes down. I would suggest a plain extension ladder versus this item unless the only thing you care about is how small this folds. The locks also have a tendency to lock only on one side which makes it crooked while sliding and you can't isolate one side or the other opening it up due to the default of unlocked position. Not impressed with the design.

I use the ladder for work. I switched from a truck to a car and needed something that I could fit in my trunk. It fits, it works but it isn’t the same as a metal ladder. It doesn’t feel stable or like it’s going to last long. The thing is plastic. It’s super convenient! Putting it back down from a frame position isn’t quick or easy but not hard. Don’t smash your fingers please
