The Curve (The Way Home)

I love the strong female lead that faces life's problems head on. The plot takes many twists just like life actually does. I enjoyed that story took some unexpected turns along the way.I really enjoyed the book and looking forward to reading the next one soon.

This is a great read. The heroine continues to deal with each of lives upheavals. It is nice to have a woman that is strong and is willing to be independent no matter what life, and love throws her way.The author was able to keep this reader interested in the characters of the book. I even gasps out loud at an unexpected plot twist. Nothing predictable to the story line.

This was a great read. The character development was great. They felt like real people you could sit down and have a meal with. The plot is well paced and keeps you motivated to read "just one more chapter" before bed. There are laughs, tears, the unexpected, there are people you love to hate by the end of it. Everything you want in a great book. I highly recommend.

I’m prejudiced because the author is a dear friend of mine. I’ve had the privilege of being both critic and cheerleader as she wrote this book and have nothing but admiration for her. If you’re a little older and have lived a life that didn’t quite go as planned, then you will love this book. If you’ve been unsure of venturing out of your safe, secure and predictable zone, but know deep down inside that you could be open to new possibilities, then you will love this book. If your heart has been shattered but you still have the desire to love and be loved, then you will love this book. I know I did.

I love when a book takes me somewhere totally unexpected! When I started the book, I never could have imagined the journey I would take with these characters. Really am excited to read more by Carolyn Reece!

Very good read!! Im not an avid reader, usually takes me weeks to finish a book, but this i read all in the same day. kept my interest and just had to see how it ends. :-)Nice job Carolyn Reece!

Easy reading book about a mature woman who has been damaged emotionally and physically by several men in her life. Fascinating journey that will keep you on your toes, a couple of twists I did not see coming. Chris is a strong woman who deserves to confront all those who have done her wrong. I can relate to this story so well, especially the part about growing up in a small town and the need to get away. I am looking forward to more books from Ms. Reece as this can't be the last we see of Chris, her friends, and dare I say, her enemies.

I so very much enjoyed this book. The fact that the characters were more mature really helped me feel closer to them and identify with their emotions. Took a few turns I didn't see coming, and didn't end as expected.
