Q: I recently purchased this item. when it arrived the pad was warpped. i have tried to flatten it with weights, etc. to no avail. what can i do?

Since it arrived damaged, I'd return it and ask for an exchange. The paper is too expensive to have to contend with shipping damage.

Q: Can you use Pastelmat for watercolor as well

PastelMat can be used for watercolor, gouache and even acrylic. For watercolor, I would probably select white PastelMat, but watercolor can even work on the anthracite (dark gray) PastelMat.

Q: Is the semi clear protective paper in between the pages glassine paper ?

Yes-at least I think it is. I like that it has this paper in between-and also helps when shipping the end product-perfect size to lay on top, along with other protective packaging of course!
