This is a beautifully proportioned and finished grab handle. I wanted a compact steadying grip in my small bathroom, and this is perfect for that application. Made of polished stainless steel pipe, it is 9.3" long from the far ends of the mounting plates, 2.5" wide at the plates, and protrudes just 2.5" from the mounting surface. The protrusion is about 0.5" less than the Moen 1.25" diameter grab bars.I have only one reservation about its use, particularly on boats, which is one of its advertised applications. The pipe is not welded to the mounting plates but screwed to them with a stainless steel bolts and some sort of expansion nuts within the pipe end. This was partially shown in the photos on the Amazon site. The bolts are torqued tight, and when I tried to pull the pipe directly off the mounting plates with about 60 pounds of force, there was no separation. But I worry--although I am not sure--that when subject to long hours of vibration, the fasteners might work loose enough for the pipe to slip off the mounting plate. The retailer might want to provide more information about the fasteners. For use in my home, I am fully delighted with the product.

Why does the description show 3 ? It's not like they are showing different angles- two are identical. Can only be to deceive.

Not 5 stars, due to deceiving picture, shows 2 handles but you only get one handle, and no screws or fasteners as stated in ad that are supposed to come with it.False ad!Great handle but deceptive product!

It needed stainless screws which I got from ACE hardware. Looks good and feels solid.(Take item with you into store when buying screws otherwise you might not get the right ones....and make sure they are stainless too)

searched around the locals hardware store and couldn't find anything that was close enough to this. I bought it to use on our boat as a "Oh Heck" handle for the wife. Fit perfectly and was super simple to install.

Installed on the side of the center console on my 18' skiff, at the same angle as the steering wheel. Great for the unexpected moments for me while standing driving or my wife while sitting next to me. Prior to this, not much else to grab onto. Pleased with the handle diameter for hand holding, and the SS construction.
