Not as many applications for use as I thought
I guess I didn't fully understand how this product worked. If you use this for items like your entertainment center, remote control items will not work when plugged into the regulated outlets unless control item is on. Therefore if your TV is the control item it will still be draining electricity because its looking for remote information and if your sound system and firestick for example are regulated, your universal remote cant turn them all on because the TV has to boot up first. This works better for a desktop computer type setup. Lap tops are always on for these purposes to charge so they won't work either.

Great for regular plugs like a lamp, not others
I have three trickle star surge protectors. This one is by far one of the odder designed ones because of the orientation of the plugs. It was great for my router, modem and printer which have regular plugs. Not for any plugs that are too wide.I switched this one with my TrickleStar 7 Outlet Advanced PowerStrip, 1080 Joules, 3ft cord are better suited for my MacBook Air, iPhone and block sized USB plugs.

OK but doesn't work for my situation
Neither my raspberry pi, or audio amplifier seem to put out enough wattage to turn on the switched outlets so this is basically useless for my application.

Works well with small PC and monitors.
I was looking for something to switch off my two monitors when I shut down my PC and power them on when the PC started up. This works fine. There is a slight delay on monitor shutoff, but less than a minute. It's great to be able to shut down the PC and walk away and also to press the power button on the PC and have it turn on the monitors and speakers. I've got a Shuttle cube with a fairly small PSU, so YMMV.

Great for saving on energy
I use it on my TV as the controller. When I shut it off, it turns everything off. Great for saving on energy. Also have one on my computer which also shuts down my printer, speakers, and shredder. Best idea ever to cut back on energy costs.
