Leeza has a way of taking pain and spinning it into precious gold. Every line left me breathless and eager to traverse more of her story with her. Her words drew trust and belief as she truly writes to not only heal herself, but others. Her writing is truly unique and indescribably beautiful. If you’re looking for encouragement, understanding, strength and gentle but powerful truth, look no further.

While We're Here is just simply incredible. It is hands down one of the best poetry books I've ever read. The pacing was wonderful, the poems were relatable, I felt like the author was able to articulate such specific emotions in the most perfect way. It was an absolute pleasure to read and I can't wait for more work from Leeza Jayde. She writes with such authenticity and warmth that is so personable. I know I'll be rereading this book many times!

Having recently experienced a huge loss in my life, this book came along at a time I needed it most. I know with Leeza’s words, I can turn to any page and find a piece of myself, in the words I can find understanding, healing and hope, even when they are in the most painful ways. I open the book more times each day than I would like to admit, when I need to ground my emotions and she does this so beautifully, weaving with her own vulnerability, a sense of power and the ability to rise above whatever it is you are going through. A powerful, brilliant read from cover to cover. Genuinely the best book I have purchased in my lifetime. And something I will always hold close to me

While we're here is a remarkable work of art. Exploring Leeza's devastatingly beautiful journey in healing really hits you right where it hurts in the best way possible. Every line is a poetic gem and it's all too easy to read this one over and over again. I will be keeping it close on hand to wrap myself up in whenever I need a little comfort.
