I store these in small cosmetic type containers in a tote with my ink pads so I always have them ready and within reach.

I really wanted to try out these relatively newer (to me) domed sponge applicators. The original flat sponge applicators were ok, but were hard to work with and created a lot of harsh lines, and I gave up on them. The domed ones are much easier to work with, don't leave harsh lines as easily, and depending on the amount of pressure you use when pouncing or swiping, you can achieve a variety of effects and color blending. I initially started out with pouncing or stippling, but found that swiping them over a stencil resulted in some great effects. I liked the plastic storage containers that stack, but I wish I had thought out in advance how to label them so that I could see which sponge went with each ink pad. This was a great way to try out the handle and the domed sponge, and I'm enjoying using them with various types of inks and cardstock.

Perfect for my dye and oxide inks!

I bought this to use with alcohol inks with card making.It doesn’t work like others I’ve seen in videos. Doesn’t move the ink much at all.

I use a whole system of handles and foam tops for my inks in these cases, instead of ink pads. I only need to re-ink small pads instead of a whole pad, as I use the color. These rounded blending tops will fit right into my system. Easy to change out, and cases keep ink wetter longer.

Yup, it works!! No need for the more expensive one - this one works just the same and I like the blue coloured tip!!
