Perfect Dimmer
I got this for my alarm clock, and it is perfect! Even at the lowest setting the clock screen was too bright, but this fit right on the screen and dims it well. Very pleased!

Excellent product
Works exactly as described. Worked perfectly to dim my “too bright” bedside clock. Easy to apply

Easy to use and work well enough
These are super easy to use and work well enough. I have found that for lights that are pretty bright, you'll need to layer it. I had to put about 3 layers on the led indicator I was trying to dim before it was a reasonable brightness for nighttime. Could just be that the indicator light I was trying to dim was extra bright though. It works like cling film which is great because it doesn't leave a mess on or alter the device you're using it on. It comes with one smaller size sheet and you just cut it to the size(s) you need and just lay it down on top. I pressed mine down a little to get it to stick better but it's pretty secure for being cling film style.

It's Tint...for Alarm Clocks. Let that sink in for a moment...
I had to purchase a new alarm clock after my 10 year old Emerson SmartSet finally died. Wouldn't power on anymore. I'd had it for years. It was one of those cool "smart" Emerson alarm clocks that programs itself when you plug it in and later automatically adjusts to daylight saving time. So...I set out to buy another one. I bought the current model of the Emerson smart clock at Walmart. It seems to work okay. Plugged it up and watched it immediately program itself. That's what I want! Fast forward: bedtime. I turned the lights off, and suddenly we have a blue lighthouse in the corner of the bedroom. You could read a book by the light. I switched it to "dim," and now you can only read a book if you're next to it...laying in the bed. I can't sleep like this! I have light blocking curtains just to block out the moonlight! We didn't sleep for days. We were exhausted. So, I came to Amazon for a potential solution. I ordered this tint film try to dim the light to a bearable level. Let that sink in for a minute: I bought a $19 alarm clock from Walmart...and then I bought TINT for it. And I couldn't wait for it to arrive. When these little tint sheets arrive, I ripped it open, eyeballed it to size (it's an alarm clock for crying out loud; it's not like I'm tinting a car) and cut it down with my pocket knife (ain't got no time for scissors). I slapped this baby on...and I could barely see the clock from across the room in broad daylight. Oh yeah, I forgot it was on dim. Switched to bright. That works! But...wait until bedtime.Bedtime arrived, I smacked the dim button on the alarm clock and crawled in bed. The alarm clock, even on dim, is still too bright. But at least now, it's manageable to the point we've been able to get used to it. This tint dimmed it considerably and did just what it advertised to do! I can't fault this product for an incredibly poor designed Emerson product.

Works well
Works is described. You can still read the clock, but the LED doesn't light up the room.

Dims ok. Static cling
Falls off easily. Could not take the wrinkle out.

Not Bendable Enough
I can't stand light when I'm sleeping. Unfortunately, manufacturers these days seemed bent on creating products with unnecessary glowing lights. In my bedroom alone there are 24/7 lights on the TV, the DirecTV box, my alarm clock and the home security system. My HEPA air-filter, which I run at night, has a light as well, and so does the electric blanket controller that I use during the winter. It's so bad that I don't need to turn on the overhead or bedside lamps when I get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom (what, like you don't have to pee at night?) because I can see all the way to the bathroom, where there's a skylight guiding my path to the porcelain throne.Seriously. What is with all of these lights?I bought this in the hope of dimming most, if not all, of my annoyances. I bought this despite what I consider an exorbitant price: my sleep is more important than money at this point. Unfortunately, I wasted my money and I am still tired. Here's how these things worked (or, rather, didn't) on my light-emitting devices:The TV -- This thing has a large red light at the bottom that's on 24/7. I cut a 2"x1/2" strip to put it on top of the light only to discover that the remote no longer worked. Apparently, there's a sensor just beneath that light. Fine, so I cut a notch into the thing to allow the remote to communicate with the TV... but the dimming sheet stuck out enough from the TV's surface that light creeps through anyway. Granted, it's not as much light, but still...The DirecTV box - The thing has a tiny greenish yellow light on the back that glows even when I've turned the box off. The light is tiny, and stuck between cord inputs, so I cut a tiny piece of the dimming sheet to cover it. Big mistake: there's not enough surface of the sheet in contact with that greenish yellow light for the sheet to stick. Another fail.My alarm clock - Here the sheet worked, albeit too well. I slapped a piece of it over the numbers and then couldn't read the numbers anymore. What's the point? The home security system -- There's a row of tiny red bubble-shaped lights over the drop-down door of my home security keypad in my bedroom. I tried cutting small pieces of the sheet to cover the individual lights but ran into the same problem involving lack of surface contact; the things wouldn't adhere. Next I cut a larger strip to cover the row of lights, but the sheet is too thick to bend under them, so if I want the lights dimmed I'd have to leave the drop-down door open. Sounds like an easy solution, except when the drop-down door is open the WHOLE keyboard glows ALL NIGHT LONG. Now I'm back to hanging a baseball hat over the thing just so I can sleep. My HEPA air-filter - This light is on the side of the unit and only glows when the unit is on. I need it on so I can sleep. Thinking maybe, just maybe, I'd found a use for these things I attached a 1"x1" square over the light (which is maybe 1/4"x1/4"). The machine's vibration and air-flow immediately made the dimming sheet fall off.I have no idea it it would work on my electric blanket controller. By this point I'd used most of the over-priced sheet and had thrown it out in disgust.I finally bought a roll of electric tape. Put several layers of that stuff down on top of a sheet of wax paper, then used a hand-held hole punch to make small dots. Peeled off the wax paper and, boom, had a bendable piece of sticky electric tape that covered the small lights perfectly AND didn't cost a fortune. A larger strip, with a notch cut into it, took care of my TV light.Lesson learned.

Works great! A bit pricy.
I used this to cover my very bright alarm clock and it works great. I like that it's cling material, so you could remove and use elsewhere should you choose. A bit pricey for only 2, roughly 3" x 6", sheets, but admittedly, I'd buy them again.

Perfection
A perfect solution to a problem I wish I didn't have.My alarm clock croaked recently, and I had to buy a new one. I wasn't prepared for the brightness of the LED display of the new alarm clock though! It was as if a mothership was ready to land next to my bed!Ridiculous. After several attempts to dim the light somehow, I gave up, and ordered these.Clearly I'm not the only one going through this, judging from the reviews of this product.Strips can be cut to any size/shape and no adhesive is needed.Static makes it cling to the surface and is just the right amount of dimness. No more blinding light disrupting my sleep.During daylight, numbers are still visible.I just wish I didn't have to spend $14 + to make a $19 clock functionable.Plus, I only needed a very small piece, but have another 3 full sheet of the film and no use for it.I guess, small price to pay for a restful sleep.

Pleasantly surprised
I was ready for throwing my alarm out of the window. It was so bright it lit up the whole room, even on the lowest light setting. Bought this, thought I'll try it !! Fantastic piece of kit, does exactly what it says, no bright light, can still see the time easily if I wake in the night even without my glasses on. It's easy to apply. Well worth the money. Highly recommend

Perfect for a Dark Room
I used these dimming tabs over the face of the digital clocks in our bedrooms. What a great product! At night, we can still see the time on the clock without it lighting up the entire room.

Light Dims work well but very expensive.
Light Dims are not stickers - they only attach to smooth surfaces using "static cling." If you want to block out lights on other displays or objects that aren't smooth, get electrical tape. Light Dims work as expected, they dim the displays on my alarm clock, modem/router, and the panel on my microwave, and yet the displays are still readable. I never realized how much these small lights assault our eyes, I am very glad I bought Light Dims before the price rose so dramatically. 12 dollars was a bit overpriced but 30 dollars is ridiculous. I would not recommend Light Dims for that price, even though they work.

Does the job - BUT
I purchased this for use on a very bright digital alarm clock. The product itself works okay, adheres to a clean surface and does dim the clock display, only time (no pun intended) will test it's durability. However, it is very expensive for two rather small pieces of plastic, was very badly packed by Amazon resulting in an angular crease that took a while to remove. The factory packing was even worse with one of the sheets stuck to the plastic packaging.
