Nexium24HR Tablet, 42 Count (Pack of 2)

What a relief to just not "feel" my stomach anymore. My doctor recommended Nexium because I had tried Prilosec and Tagamet and Zantac with no relief. One caveat -- Nexium can cause muscle spasms, and I get some pain from that in my calves. However, someone clued me in to use almonds for cramp relief, and since I like almonds I've done that and it's better. DON'T BUY THESE PRESCRIPTION. It was going to cost $200, but fortunately the pharmacist pointed out that they are over-the-counter now for about 10% of that price.ADDENDUM: Be careful of extended use, more than a couple of months. I ended up with pretty severe leg cramping, enough to keep me awake at night.

My insurance company will no longer pay for my big brand name medication for GERD’s. Nexium 24HR TABLETS (not capsules) are very similar to the expensive big brand name meds and are the only OTC’s that work for me!!

Works well, definitely worth the price and feel much better than using any other antacid medications.

The best out there. My insurance company of course would not pay for the name brand, only generic, which are a waste of money, so I will buy my own so I don't suffer.

I’ve tried Prilosec, generic Nexium, as well as a very expensive prescription and the branded Nexium is the only thing that works for mild reflux. My habitual clearing my throat has gone away. If you have similar symptoms, I would give this a try now that it is sold over-the-counter.
