Finger brush too big for cats. Small end of double-headed brushes is ok.
Bought these for our cats, who have chronic gingivitis problems. The cats will chew on the small end of the toothbrush if I use a little bit of an enzymatic cat toothpaste in a flavor they like, so I just keep reloading the bristles and turning the head to reach different teeth. As a result the bristles are starting to look a little bent and bedraggled, but it holds up pretty well considering. I plan to switch to a 360/cylindrical cat toothbrush once these wear out.I would have liked to use the finger brushes to make sure I hit every tooth, but they're just too big for little cat mouths. They've become toys instead.

Only use the small end of the toothbrush for cats
Ok, I have two adult cats about 14lbs. So, like medium size. I'll say for sure that the blue finger tip scrubbers do absolutely not fit in their mouths. They'd be better suited for a medium dog. The small ends of the toothbrushes are perfect for cats. I suppose the larger ones could work for some, but they just seem gigantic compared to their little mouths, especially if you have a cat adverse to brushing teeth.

These were perfect for training our young cat to get his teeth brushed. Started with the chicken flavored toothpaste on our finger tips for 5 days, then transitioned to the finger-tip brushes, and then about a week later switched to the brushes. This package was a great deal and the quality is perfect for the pets. Everything you need to brush your pets teeth at a great price.

We 3 large dogs, 1 small dog and 2 cats and the vet recommended teeth brushing in addition to the treats/toys that are supposed to help clean their teeth ... so this all-in-one set is perfect for my house. I even labeled them to make sure each dog/cat has their own. While a couple of them were not happy with actually having their teeth brushed ... the size and design is just right for each of them.
