I got this hoop set to use with my PE770, mostly because I wanted a 100mm by 100mm hoop. I am really happy with the quality, they are just as strong as the brother hoop that came with my machine. I have had no problems at all, they work wonderfully. I have used Elipse before, and I was in no way disappointed with these. Same great quantity. I was sad that the placement grids are not interchangeable with the Brother hoops, but I expected that based on the first Elipse hoop I got for my LB6800PRW.I'm not really a fan of the 2 'freebees' that came with this. The stork scissors are built well and have a nice pouch, but the finger holes are too small for my fingers. They are unusable for me, so I gave them to a friend, who loves them. The thread that comes with this kit has a great luster and stitches very well, but all my designs are made for 40 weight thread, and this Polystar thread is not 40 weight, it is 50. It leaves small gaps in the design sadly, but would be great if the design was made for 50 weight thread. I only got this kit for the hoops, and not the scissors or thread, so I am still giving 5 stars, and I still recommend it.

These are a huge improvement over the hoop that comes with the Brother 770, the machine is fantastic and with these better quality hoops really makes it a breeze to use. Even using the largest hoop for hats, pinning the hat to the stabilizer for the area you want to embroider works simple and easy and the hats come out great. The thread that comes with isn't the best, I use a higher quality thread, but for test runs they're perfect and I'll use them all. I threw away the hoop that Brother provided for this machine, even if I resell this Brother I wouldn't curse somebody using such a frustrating hoop. The best use for the default hoop is to be recycled and turned into plastic cups or something...

These hoops are sturdy, and works great on my PE770 embroidery machine. It is great to be able toset up the next hoop for the next project while waiting for the one sewing. I wish that you couldbuy these hoops individually. I would love another small hoop. But next to the largest also works.I just learned that the large hoop you can hook higher or lower to what ever you are doing. How theymade it easy to write names on towels etc.I had fast delivery I did notice that the price went down since I bought mine. But I guess that isthe way it goes.A must have product for embroidery machines

These are pricy, but after doing a lot of research, they are the recommended ones to buy for the Brother PE-770 embroidery machine. They fit perfect. They each come with 2 sets of the placement grids for different machines; the purple ones are for my embroidery machine. The machine came with the 5X7, so now I have 2 of them. I've used the 4X4 so far and you can feel it is quality. I don't have any others to compare them with, but I'm sure pleased with these.

These are a great deal for the money! I have a Baby Lock Ellure and they look exactly the same as the Baby Lock brand and are just as sturdy from what I can tell. You really can't go wrong for the price and these are great quality!I'm not sure if my machine would like the thread that comes with it over time (my machine likes to skip stitches when I use cheaper thread, but it did ok with this one for the time being). The scissors are an added bonus and seem nice too.I have an online baby boutique and wanted some extra hoops to have on hand so I could hoop while the machine was going.

I have a Brother embroidery machine Innovis 1250D and the really large hoop that came with the machine was SUCH a pain to put on, clipping it in was so frustrating! (although the 5 x 7 worked well.) Sometimes it took both my husband and myself to clip it in - I was afraid we'd break the embroidery arm! After reading the reviews of the Elipse hoops, I purchased them. I'm so glad I did!! The largest hoop connected SO quickly and easily to my machine - no frustration at all! I am overjoyed with this purchase! I have also tried the 5 x 7 which works like a dream, too. I haven't tried the other sizes yet, but am looking forward to using them since the largest ones work so well. The thread and scissors included were a nice touch! Great purchase!!

Those of you who have struggled trying to load the standard Brother embroidery hoops will understand what I mean. At last, hoops that go on the first try! Why they're different, I don't know. They look exactly the same, although they feel ever so slightly heavier. All I know is that they have gone my 1250D Brother machine first try every time so far.The 5 stars is for the hoops. The other items are just a bonus as far as I'm concerned, although the threads are vivid colors and do seem to work just fine on my machine. I'm so glad I gave these hoops a chance!

I recently purchased the Brother Embroidery Machine PE-770. I absolutely love the machine, but the included 5x7 hoop is a little hard to set in. Other reviews of the machine said to purchase these hoops instead of using the included hoop. These are wonderful and so far I've used the 4x4 and 5x7 hoops and had absolutely NO trouble getting these seated in the machine. The scissors and embroidery thread were a nice bonus and will be used also. I don't know what the problem with the included hoop is, but these fit in perfectly--Brother are you listening?
