Sufficient lighting, good looking sensor lights that are not too bright
Bought these for the master bath. These replaced one way-too-bright sensor light. Initially I intended to install them near to the floor as a guide light but then realized that this placement wouldn't work for various reasons including configuration of the bottom of my cabinet. There is a small hallway leading to the bathroom where there is are closets on either side. It's at that point that I would like the first one to turn on. So I installed one on the wall that I'll call the start of the bathroom, but I installed it vertically, where the light points towards to far wall (instead of down) mainly due to that wall being narrow. It's not a large bathroom but the commode is just around the corner from this first light so I decided to install a second one on the door to outside (see pictures), which is not in front of but to the right of the commode (if you're sitting on it), this one facing down. What's interesting, and I didn't take this into consideration, is that when the first light comes on, the second one may initially come on but then it goes off right away, presumably because of the light that's emitted from the first one (they didn't seem THAT bright, this is why I say it's interesting). But, I left them both up because as I sat on the (closed) toilet, waiting for both to go off, I then moved and sure enough the one on the door came on but not the one in the hallway. However, even if the one in the hallway comes on and the one on the door goes off, there's still plenty of light while sitting on the commode. They give off really good light WITHOUT (important thing for me here) being too bright (for those late night trips to the restroom). You just can't put them too close to the floor, in a horizontal position, for obvious reasons (that I'll state anyways - the lights' direction is downward in that position). The one star knock is due to one of the units having the negative contact spring depressed. I had to pull it out with a butter knife. See before picture of this unit. One more thing I'll note, the light is a little bigger than I thought it would be. Not a problem though as they are good, simply looking lights and blend in well with the room (especially since the bathroom colors are light).

Perfect for sleepy pet owners
It's funny that I never thought this would be great in my house before I bought this one. I usually wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and since I have a pet in my house who sleeps like a little pig, this night light keeps him safe from me.Only one problem, the package comes without triple A batteries and you have to have some around in the house.

These lights are best for hallway within a foot of the floor or in very dark areas. They do not produce enough light to use in a large volume area such as a pantry or to light an entire bathroom or such. Also lights are designed to be flush mounted on the wall which seems to cut off a significant portion of the light angle. Maybe this is engineered to reflect off of the wall surface. I wish they were brighter.Second issue is the power source. The description reads "One night light only requires 3 AAA batteries to work" but the lights that came to me require 9 volt batteries. What's Up, Matisse Motion Sensor Light Corporation????

This is a bogus product! It advertises motion sensitivity, but it has none. Instead, the light remains off until the room is darkened (or you cover the sensor completely). Movement has no effect at all. For it to turn off, it has to sense light. I bought the 3-pack and all three exhibited the same operation. This is a night light that comes on in the dark and does not go off until light returns, so it is essentially a 9-volt vampire. Sleep tight in your coffin back to Amazon!

Works great all around.
Put it in the closet and bathroom, and it works great.Very sensitive sensors and light is enough to see where i am going in the dark. Would buy more.

Not great
Dissatisfied with how quickly they chew up the battery, I'll be using cheaper, brighter, and longer lasting options moving forward.
